Random Amazon price drop: Woody Allen Collection Vol. 3, $34.49 shipped

This set contains:

Hannah and Her Sisters / The Purple Rose of Cairo / Broadway Danny Rose / Zelig / A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy / Radio Days

This is the best price I've seen for the last few months.

How's it work on Amazon? I got it in March from them for 39.99. Possible to get 5 dollar refund?

@MikeShaynePI

I believe Amazon does price adjustments within 30 days of purchase.

Just call them up and say you want to get a price adjustment and they'll look it up and credit you back the $5.50. It's as easy as that.

If you're within the 30 days, you can also use their email customer service form (it's under "help" on their site). Works well.

I have gotten numerous price adjustments on things that were past the 30 -day limit, also some polite rejections on those. What I find works best on these "iffy" requests is to send an email well after-hours---we're talking after 11 PM Pacific Time to be safe--- which guarantees that it will be handled by Amazon's offshore help desk. I find that the overseas crew are more, shall we say, lenient about approving such price adjustments.
