For anyone who doesn't get the coupons in the mail and wants them, you should go to the customer service desk and ask them to check your profile to make sure your account says you want to receive promo mail from Costco. Also make sure your mailing address is correct. I was told today at one Costco that they are not making coupon booklets available in store anymore. If you don't get one, you are out of luck. I complained to a manger and got a booklet but they do seem to be making it more difficult. Its a pain if you want the Looney Tunes sets and the store you to has only 4 of the 5 sets. Do you use your coupon and possibly not get one of the sets with the coupon or do you try another store and then find they other store only has three of the sets or whatever. Coupons are a pain in the neck. I wish they would go back to instant rebates where the item scans at the discounted price.

You can ask the cashier if you can keep the coupon because you want to buy some more copies. Also, if you get any problems you can ask a manager for a raincheck and they should let you keep the coupon as proof for the rain check.

And thank you to those of you that gave me good advice about Costco, coupon & return policy. I was able to get my set of Looney Tunes without any problems. Greatly appreciate it!

I was able to bring in my receipt for when I bought the sets for $23.99 and the coupon and they actually gave me cash back at the return desk (I had opened the sets). As long as the purchase was within 30 days of the coupon.

That's sweet! It may be a YMMV thing because the at the Costco I had purchased the original set before the sale, they said no and I would have to buy a whole new set at the DVD section in order to use the coupon. Since I had no problems finding a new set at another Costco, I didn't bother going to the return desk for adjustments.

My Costco only had the 1-disk DVD and BluRay of Indiana Jones. No 2-disk DVD.

So which Looney Tunes dvds might need replacing. I found this for Vol 2, disc 4: http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/...c-4-dvd-2.html

Is that it for all 5 volumes?

I was surprised they're not carrying the 2-disc version. I don't really notice, but do they normally do that? Pick the 1-disc version of a 2-discer?

The same thing happened with Sam's Club and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, they had everything BUT the 2-disc SD version.

This might be a YMMV thing, but today I picked-up The Three Stooges Collection: Volume 4 for $16.99. They also had volumes 1 - 3 for the same price.

Edit: I forgot to mention that they also had the new "Universal Legacy Series" sets for around $14.99.

Anyone know the Looney Tunes V6 price? I'd like to save a trip if I could.
Thanks.

Hoping for $29.

I would be surprised if it were that cheap unless they have an instant rebate with the purchase of Vol 6 and one of the earlier volumes. Still times are tough so they may offer such a bargain. I think it will be closer to $35 to $40.
Costco prices on new releases are not generally great. Warner box sets are usually a bargain a year after release.
Vol 6 has a $64.92 list price. $29.00 would be a great bargain.

Cheaper than that at BB, and it comes with an exclusive little freebie guidebook.

I thought I paid $39.99, but you may be right.

Either way, it may be worth $2 to most people to get the freebie/exclusive.

I'm confused...

Isn't $42.99 cheaper then $44.99?

Yep, I think I got confused at this comment:

Tells me that Costco had the exclusive, which they didn't.

I get it now.

Now, is the booklet worth the extra $2? Hard to tell through the shrink wrap.

Did anyone see the new James Bond Blu-ray releases there? Curious to see what Costco wants for them.

You're right, sorry if I was snippy. Haven't opened it yet. The actual question should be, is the booklet worth $25? Since we can be fairly confident that this set will be $20 somewhere eventually, especially since 1-5 were just $19 at Costco.

My local Costco had each set for $58.99. No sign of individual movies.
