I have seasons 1 & 2 on DVD....and 5 & 6 + the "Specials" box on Blu. Been holding off on the other Tennant's for Blu releases that don't seem to wanna happen.

Dr. Who was not filmed in HD until the Tennant specials so previous seasons are not likely to be upgraded to blu .

That didn't stop the producers of "Farscape". ...Plus the Tennant & Eccleston Who's look just fine on broadcast HD so, if it's all the same, I may still pass on these deals in favour of potential/hopeful blu releases. :D

Ten disc, 40 episodes set called The Best of The Naked City for $18 or $19 not sure. Do know it was under $20.
http://www.amazon.com/Best-Naked-Cit...+of+Naked+City

They also had several of the 100 film public domain sets such as sci fi, westerns, and horror for $17 each.

Actually, you can do an HD transfer of anything that was originally filmed, although how much detail it's its capable of will depend on the elements and their condition (16mm vs. 35mm, etc.). Videotape, which was the original medium for most older BBC shows, never had the resolution of film, and there is only so much you can do with it.

My Costco had "Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer: The Complete Series Starring Darren McGavin" and the "The Honeymooners - Classic 39 Episodes" one was 22.99 and the other was less like 19.99 or 16.99, I really can not remember right now.

The revival of Dr Who does not use 16mm or 35mm film. It is recorded digitally. Same way Farscape was recorded. Farscape was released in HD but it was not true HD. The pal masters which have more resolution than NTSC were used. You would have to ask someone who has both the DVD and blu ray versions of Farscape whether there is significant difference between the two when using a blu ray player to view both.

As far as the Honeymooners set mentioned above, it was $19.99 at costco.

All seasons of Lost $12.99 each.

On another note my favorite bargain, $1.50 hot dog has changed again. First no longer Hebrew National hot dogs, now the fountain service is no longer Coke. It's Pepsi ugh. I know many people prefer Pepsi and will be happy about this change. I am not. Oh well nothing lasts forever and they still have Coke machines but of course you have to pay for that.

Saw some side by side double packs of TLC types of shows. Chasing Classic Cars seasons 1 & 2 for example. However, they didn't seem to have much left. Has anyone seen any other shows, specifically Overhaulin'?
