The larger version is currently $88 at Amazon. It went on sale once for $60.

The $60 sale was an Amazon DOTD that of course I missed. And I've almost bit on the $88 Amazon sale.

But after a few years of DVD collecting, all of a sudden my shelf space is more valuable than any savings I can find. :(

900 square feet of apartment, with more windows than walls is bad for the habit.

I know it's hard to read the future, but does anyone have any idea if Costco will be carrying the two new Zorro sets? They've had all the Disney Treasures in the past, but I haven't seen these yet, and I don't want to wait too long, since they only did 30,000. Still, Costco had a good number of sets of Dr. Syn last year (or whenever it came out...).

I saw the 2 Zorro sets at my Costco on Sunday. Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the price, though.

DO NOT WAIT ANOTHER SECOND. You should have ordered both Zorro sets YESTERDAY. Costco is carrying them, but VERY FEW per store and many stores haven't seen any yet (including most in the Atlanta, GA area). They will be gone in a week or two, order now on Amazon.com or Walmart.com. Seriously.

Is the Seinfeld: The Complete Series going for $80, with $20 off?
Might be time to grab this set as $120 was the low about a year ago.

Yes.

And, next week, Ally McBeal will be $75.

I went today and picked up the Seinfeld set. I only owned the first two seasons before so this was a definite no-brainer purchase for me. Such a classy set and a steal at $80, IMO.

LOL

Costco is having a weekly set of instant savings of DVDs/CDs.

For those of you who can't tell from the photos here: http://www.costco.com/Service/Featur...uctNo=11507071

Those musical special editions (Sound of Music, Westside Story, etc) are in cases the size of a compact car! We're talking 10x12x3" or so here! I couldn't believe it! They're $29.99 in the store, or $19.99 the week they're on sale.

Some good deals this week, including that set of Christmas classic for only $13 after $10 off and a limited edition of the Bourne trilogy for $17 after $6 off.

Just don't be surprised if you to buy those musical special editions. This is your fair warning!

I only looked at Sound of Music. It contained the 2-disc release, the soundtrack, and a large hardcover book.

Not bad for what's going to be $19.99 after coupon. Total shame about the size. I'm pretty sure the picture of the contents on the back doesn't show if it comes with a normal DVD case inside.

Rome with Book was 67.99 at my Costco. That will make it 47.99 + tax starting tomorrow. Not as good as Amazon, but you do get the Book.

According to fiveironfeffi @ SD:

The Wire - Complete Series - $99 Costco B&M
Saw this at Costco a couple days ago

Pretty good price for an amazing show.
Not the best price ever, but certainly a decent price for Christmas.

I bought Sound of Music last year. It does come with the normal DVD case.

Stopped by my local Costco today and picked up some Disney DVDs. All $12.99 with the $6 off (no coupon needed).

Snow White (2-disc)
Pinnocchio (Platinum 2-disc)
Tinker Bell

They also had the $99 HBO sets for $30 off. So you can pricematch the 6-Feet Under Taget deal ($69.99) or grab The Wire for $69.99. I think Get Smart was another one. Can't remember the rest. Seemed like a decent deal for that stuff.

Wait... Target will pricematch Costco, or the other way around??
