I got backorders for Kiss of Death and Countess Dracula/The Vampire Lovers yesterday. I'll need to cancel Masque of the Red Death/The Premature Burial because I bought a new "used" copy during one of the Wherehouse/SecondSpin 20% off sales.

I was happy to get the two movies, but Oldies' service stinks.

I got a new catalog in the mail today. On the front it features the Midnite Movies and says "many sold-out titles now back in stock." Of course they could be sold out again by now.
D75058 is good for 10% off $75 or more for the month of May.

I ordered from them about a month ago - mostly just some .99 and 1.99 titles I wanted to see. It's still about the same. Inventory online is not updated in real time, so I had one item "not available" which they deducted the price from the order. Shipping was a flat rate 2.99 and free if you spend $75. I think it took 8 days total from order to delivery, including weekends. I haven't heard of any cutouts (slashed UPC codes) from there recently but they have had them in the past.

I seem to remember a more recent thread, but I couldn't find it. Maybe there was a discussion in one of the BigLots threads. A lot of their stuff can occasionally be found cheaper at BigLots stores.

Also, I don't think any of the Midnite Movies are OOP anymore.

Re: OOP Midnite Movies at Oldies.com

I placed my first order in almost 2 years during BF/Cyber Monday.

They had several Midnite movies

For $ .99
Midnite Movies: Die Monster Die! (DVD)
Midnite Movies: Morons from Outer Space (DVD
Midnite Movies: Count Yorga Vampire'

For $1.98
Midnite Movies: Dr. Phibes Rises Again! (DVD) Qty: 1
Midnite Movies: The Thing with Two Heads (DVD)
Midnite Movies: The People That Time Forgot (DVD)
Midnite Movies: Strange Invaders (DVD)

(some of these are still at this price)

During Cyber Monday/BF they had free shipping and 10% off. I got a lot of stuff I'd been looking at for a long time, but never pulled the trigger on because their postage was 6 bucks and I couldn't justify that for what I wanted. Plus they had alot of $2/$3 dollar DVDs like Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, 100 Rifles, Tootsie SE, etc..

They got the entire order to me within a week, so I'd say the service was pretty good. I have had problems in the past with them not having stuff in stock or discs loose, but have always been pleased with the result. The only problem is if your order a popular item and add a bunch of stuff to the order because you are already paying ph, they might run out of the item you really want and send you the other stuff anyway. I would call them after placing any order you are unsure about to avoid any potential problems.

One time I had something like that happen and I had to remind them to send it. They got it back in stock but just forgot about my order, so if I never said anything, I never would have gotten it.
