Speedy, I hope all is well my friend and thanks continually for all your work.
Are there any cheap desktops in the ad? I've been looking for a couple of weeks and haven't seen much, I just need a junker to take some of the load off my laptop, so the cheaper the better if so. You are the man sir.

The problem I'm having is that certain folks are asking just for PC / Laptop prices as though they had a sick child who would die if they weren't given those prices in advance.
I've had 1 new member ask me 11 weeks in a row, not ask for week and then resume asking upon the 13th week.
Are these folks buying & reselling PCs / laptops each week?
I'll never have a problem helping someone genuinely look for an item for a few weeks but 13 + weeks is a bit absurd. My question that forms in my mind is what did they do when I did NOT post them? Were forum members lying in alleyways "jonesing" because they did not have that info? Even the e-mails I've been getting are: "Speedy..... got the laptop prices???????" There's been no apparent concern that I've battling the flu and STILL getting the intel up.
Anyway..... enough ranting:

Don't feel obligated to list them, this is a DVD site, not an electronics one, after all. I'm sure there are presale listings at FatWalletandSlickdeals, etc. that they can look for electronics prices without having you do all that work here.

I'd like to throw this out and inform anyone, I asked Speedy questions about Laptops and I recently made a purchase this past monday on the Dell for 699. See there... I wasn't just all questions, no action.
The laptop has already paid itself off in full. I love it. thanks for the circular posts peeps.

Thanks, speedy.
I have been procrastinating on picking up the Blu-rays of Hellboy and Fifth Element remastered. I figure I can spend $50 ($40 because I have a $10 RZ certificate) and then get $20 gift cert to apply toward another future BD purchase there. If I'm lucky, they will let me use two of the $5 off any BD coupons too. That would be like getting them for $10 each...

I just bought this last week from bestbuy.com for $350. Not much of a loss because I had a $50 gift card, but I wanted to chime in for potential buyers. (I wonder if I can get a $20 Refund)
This is an awesome 24" 1080P LCD monitor! I personally use it as a tv. It has hdmi, vga, composite, and component inputs (one of each). Just got my VGA cable for the xbox 360 and seeing it in 1080P is just awesome.
Those wanting to use it as a monitor won't be disappointed, but be warned if you wish to use it as a tv. Since it doesn't have a tv tuner the best method would be to use a tivo or digital cable box to get your tv signal/tuner. Most of the new HD boxes have hdmi, but don't settle for anything less than component.
I currently am using my vcr as a tv tuner w/ composite (rca) inputs. That I don't recommend!
The monitor does have small 3 watt speakers, but they are not worth much at all. Though it's a good temporary fix until you can get a cheap 5.1 system.
Note with the VGA: The sound apparently must go into the 3.5mm audio jack and doesn't work with the rca audio ports. It comes with a cable, but you will need an adapter to convert the red and white wires to 3.5mm. I had one lying around, but you might not. Though it means nothing if you are using external speakers...

"Those who haven't seen director Shinji Arimaki's first feature shouldn't worry, however, as the gist of the first film is delivered in an opening montage, and enough basic information is imparted throughout Ex Machina to make everything clear enough."

Stopped into the local BB on Monday evening to pick up 101 Dalmatians / Aristocats at the advertised $30 price....but hmmmm.....not a single copy of Aristocats in the whole store.
Had flashbacks of when I stopped in last week to get The Postman at the advertised $4.99 sale price...and no copies of that one available either.

Hope you get to feeling better, Speedy...I've been fighting the flu off and on for a month now. Sucks...can't beat the damn thing.
