Seven Samurai is easily in my all time top 10, maybe even my top 5. I love this movie. The extras are pretty, darned good, too. This is a great set.

How much better is this version over the other Criterion version?

The new version is a lot better than the old one, and with the new extra features (not to mention the little book that goes with it), it is DEFINITELY worth double-dipping on.

Even at the regular price. At this price? You'd have to be an idiot to pass it up. ;)
