I think there's been a new round of price drops at Best Buy, I picked up Glass Fleet Vol 1 with box for 10.99. Saw Beck with box for 13.99 or so, Mushi-shi for about the same price. Think some others also.

I believe Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (SE) is also included with this promotion as well though it's not technically anime.

This promotion is almost exclusively for non-anime DVDs (titles that you would see in Big Lots). As far as I know Steamboy Directors Cut was the only anime that is included in this promotion. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (SE) would be another one if you want to count that as anime.

Or you could go there, and look yourself. Or maybe check out the FYE thread, where it's probably listed already.

Thank you Thank you Thank you for the Origin photoset.

Looks good. Definitely wanted the movie, but hesitant because I had thought the packaging could have caused disc scratches. But it looks safe and sound. Is that correct? Did you receive your disc in flawless condition?

I notice some extra "green flap" (interior photoset) is that suppose to prevent the disc from "floating"?

Long shot ___ (probably a year or two into the FUTURE). Can I assume ADV will have some of their newer (and by then older) titles such as Pani Poni Dash in a twenty-five/hundred sale.

I really want this Pani Poni Dash series, but not sure I want to spend $102.54 (gotanime member price) on it at the moment.

$29.98 x 46% = $16.19 x five volumes (1,3,4,5,6)
$39.98 x 46% = $21.59 x artbox volume (2)

I really don't remember what the titles are. I would say most of the titles are not worth buying. They all have a generic SKU specifically for this promotion. Some of the titles mirror what some might have saw @ Big Lots.

The packaging shouldn't have any problems with disc scratches. My copy showed up flawless despite a lack of quality packaging with the shipment. Some more information concerning this specialty tray used for this release.

and yes...it is one of the most amazing animes i have ever seen....but it is very very slow. Though none of the episodes have succeeded in any way to put me to sleep, and i doubt they ever will with repeated viewings! just to illustrate it's amazingness a bit...

Ended up getting the Mushi-Shi Vol 1 + Artbox after finding out that the local Best Buy didn't get their Appleseed Ex Machina Book/Comics in today. If I had included Vol2-3 into the mix would've spent less than $40 in total.

Now if only Vol 4-6 would hit the 10.99 or less price range...

I did the same... Picked up Mushi-Shi, and it was the same story at 3 Best Buys, no Ex-Machina books anywhere. Has anyone actually picked up a copy with?

From what I have heard, BB had some sort of shipment delay. I'm not sure if any U.S. store got any copies. Despite that, stores maybe getting some of these later this week. BB dropped the ball on this one...

Did anyone receive their Aquarian Age from Best Buy yet? I haven't, and I'm confused because this is the most bizarre shipping set up I've ever seen. In the email it says it was shipped by USPS, but the page it links me to is a UPS page. But then, down in the details, it says it was shipped by USPS. Its very odd.

Anyone else get this, and has anyone seen this before?

Oh also it says it was 'delivered at unit' today, but it was not. Heh.

They use UPS Mail innovations, which basically means they move the package using their trucks. Then they drop it off to the USPS for delivery. I am also waiting for mine, it appears to be in my city at least

Makes sense. Mine was delivered yesterday and held at the post office, so I went to go pick it up this morning. I had read nothing about this release, so I was happily surprised it's actually a box of thinpaks...
