These weekly threads are for the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Thursday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Hot Topic, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; We'd appreciate any updates you could give us.

Circuit City is advertising a free paper airplanes designs CD-Rom with Magorium.

Wal-Mart's site says they'll have an exclusive with it, but it doesn't say what. Could just be a 2-pack with another movie of course.

I noticed two different exclusives for 101 Dalmatians while I was making my media run today. One was at Costco, where they had a free dalmation keychain shrinkwrapped to the top of the keepcase. The other was a mini lunch box, free with puchase of the DVD at Stop & Shop (of all places), a large supermarket chain here in the northeast. I don't even see this retailer listed in the stores up top! I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be some sort of shared exclusive, perhaps also found at other supermarkets? Or maybe it's just something my local Stop & Shop did as a promo, I can't be sure. Anyway, there ya go.

WalMart has Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium with a 30 min bonus disc. I saw a whole bunch of FS only copies at one Walmart.

This sounds similar to the bonus that Giant Food had with Peter Pan a few months back. I'll try to remember to stop by a Giant tonight to confirm.
