I knew that.

My point was that I did not have issues with the coupon and that the manager even went a step further to tell me I could get more use out of it. I never had a BB employee ask if I wanted to get more to apply to the coupon.

The store I went to today still had like 8 copies of Blade. This has to be a mistake on Best Buy's part.

Nice price, might have to check this out.

Edit: Got it for $14.16, blind buy.

I don't think it's a mistake: the Ann Arbor store had these in their TV/DVD aisle and I got one of the only two remaining. No sale signs or anything. I'm guessing since they were selling slow that they put them on sale to get rid of them. It's not like the franchise is going to take off suddenly now.

Got one at mine. They had a few left.

Thing is, why does BestBuy.com show it at $34.99?

It just came out this week. As I posted earlier, they've deleted this title from their system. It's on a clearance basically. They (my guess /understand at least) is that they did a small print run of it, and they're just getting rid of what they got.

but why not give it a week or two at the higher price point to see if anyone bites? doesn't make sense to me.

right!, why else would a new release go out to all of thier stores at half of the price most other merchants sell it for. I still say it was a pricing error from thier main offices that went out unchecked. if it was in fact a "sale" price, you would think they would have advertised it in thier store circular.

That was something that concerned me as well, but it went through fine. You might want to give it another try with a different cashier...

Pasadena, TX got it with coupon.

Tried to PM a couple of 3.99 DVDs from CC's ad.

They said they couldn't do the 110% at the check out registers and I had to buy it and then go to Customer Service registers to get the 110% difference. I did it but flat out told her I didn't believe her. I wasn't angry or did I call her a liar, just told her I didn't believe her. Was a minor hassle, but once again a bad CS experience at BB.

I know it doesn't make sense, but this is BB we're talking about. Also, just ask an associate/somebody working the floor to look it up in their RSS system. It shows up as $14.99 and deleted.

yeah, cashier was right. their policy is if you buy the product first and find it somewhere advertised at a cheaper place you can go to the customer service area and get 110% the difference.

or if you just wanted to PM on the spot, it would've just been 100% the difference. that is why their policy usually sucks.

Picked up Blade: The Series at my "local" Best Buy (Kannapolis, NC) for $14.99 - price marked correctly on item. They had one left after I bought mine. Able to use the 10% off coupon as well.

Thanks for the tip. I never saw the series when it ran, and was planning on picking it up. I read the post and headed over to BB. They had 2 copies on the shelf. I grabbed one and got it for the $14.99.

Snagged 1 tonight but they are on to the misprice - all copies on the shelf were marked 14.99 but the computer rang up at 34.99

They gave me the 14.99 price but I think the "deal" is near death
