That has got to be the craziest mix of titles I've ever seen.

Decent deal assuming there is someone out there who does not own a single one of those movies on DVD already and wants the majority of them. Comes out to about $3.89/each (instead of cycling Columbia House accounts to get them, you could just buy this).

Sure, but who really wants a majority of these movies? It's such a bizarre mix. You have to have incredibly eclectic tastes to want all of these. Of course, this is DVDTalk, so I'm sure a bunch of us have already ordered it. Not me though.

Can someone please share with me what's "prestig"ious about Marlon Brando wearing a mumu in the oddball western 'The Missouri Breaks'? and while we're at it...Baby Boom?...Child's Play?...Pieces of April?...The Man in the Iron Mask?...Dark Blue?...

No doubt some great flicks here but just call the collection what it is....a haphazard hodgepodge of flicks gathered together with no rhyme or reason. That being said, for the two...maybe three dvd aficionados out there who have somehow managed to avoid the majority of these titles and who would even consider dropping $350 on a massive collection...ehh, not a bad deal.

Not always. They tried to charge me half of the 28.99 I paid for Superbad on BR for "restocking fees". They were attempting to return only 11 dollars and some change after I sent the disc back in pristine condition. After about a half an hour of phone calls and complaints they decided it wasn't worth their while to keep the 14 dollars and change they owed me. That was my experience with my first and only return to Amazon.

I'm assuming it was opened, so why would you be able to return it at all? I thought that once it was opened you could only exchange it if it's defective?

It was brand new and bought as a Christmas gift but was unwanted so I had to return it. At first the lady tried to tell me I had damged it which I had not. Then the lady said that I had opened it which also wasn't true. After talking to a couple of CSRs they decided it was worth more to them to return me the money that was rightfuly owed to me rather than losing a customer they have had for years.

Ok, when you said it was in "pristine condition" I thought you meant you opened it up and then wanted to send it back.

This assortment is slightly brilliant.

You have great movies like 12 Angry Men, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Annie Hall, Rain Man, Raging Bull, Rocky, and...Red Dawn and Road House.

Fuck, I'll take a $349 Road House megaset with a starter kit to open your own Double Deuce.

Lease not included.
