Seasons 1 & 2 of the classic series I SPY are up for preorder at Amazon for $14.99 each. Each season contains 28 episodes.

These are great prices for such a great classic show. Pre-ordered :D

I checked further and found that Image is re-releasing all three seasons of the show on April 29 (at suggested list price of $19.98 each), so the third season should also be showing up soon on Amazon.

This time around the episodes are presented in chronological order, in three 5-disc season sets (previously Image had released the episodes out of order, 4 episodes per disc, on 21 dvds).

The box art for the new sets proclaims "Newly Remastered Edition."

No word yet on whether any of the extras from the previous Image releases will be retained, such as the Robert Culp commentaries.

I had started to pick up some of the previous Image I Spy dvds from Oldies.com, which is offering them at 5 for $25. I'm glad now I waited.
