ER - The Complete Eighth Season 24.99 at Circuit City

Today I went to Circuit City to get ER - The Complete Eighth Season since I had a couple of gift cards. They didn't list it in the ad this week, and it was 39.99 on the website, so I figured it would be 39.99 in store too, so I had my Best Buy ad with the 34.99 price ready for a price match. It turns out it was only 24.99 there, it was labeled as that and it rang up at that, so I don't think it was a mistake. I don't think an ER season set has ever been less than 30 on release week.

Same thing happened to me. Seems like it might be chain-wide.

Hmm... figures they didn't put it in their ad. I've stop purchasing from Circuit City altogether and now only pricematch their ad at Best Buy.

anyone else find this to be the case ? not to doubt the other two-members. But i would like a little more evidence of this being an across the board price before i waste gas to go and check myself.

You could always call up and ask. It doesn't seem to be a price mistake, so I don't see how that would hurt. For the record, I'm in PA, and the other two posters are from OH and CA so it's not even like it looks like it's regional.

Did you check with the new releases? At first I couldn't find the new releases, so I just checked with the TV on DVD and it wasn't there, I finally had an employee help me and it turned out that the new DVDs were on a cart in the middle of one of the video game isles!

I found it marked $24.99, rang up $39.99, I told the clerk it is marked $24.99 she said it is a mistake and it is selling for $39.99. I asked for Manager and he claims it is a mismark but he would give it to me for $24.99
