I doubt they would.

On that note, also picked up Casino Royale (turns out my TRU had 3 in a box...the guy on the phone said he'd bust them out when I got there.) and Pirates 1.

I figured I'd cash in on a good deal with Pirates 1 and deal with the disc replacement now, rather than if I'd chosen it for free and wait a long time. I'll choose The Prestige as one of my "five free".

My local TRU said they only got a few copies of both of them and were all sold Sunday. Since they aren't Disney movies they said they are shipped seperate from the others.

The manager on duty said they got a directive that told them to put the remaining movies in the toy section after this week so he seemed to think they were only carrying BluRays this week only as a test.

I'm still holding out hope on a restock before the end of the week, I MUST have Casino Royale(even though I don't have a BR player. . .)!

$10 off Pirates 3 coupon and 4 $5 off coupons probably. I wasn't feeling ballsy enough to try all that so I just brought 2 $5 coupons for the 4 movies I got.

Got shot down trying to use (2) $5 coupons. They said since I'm only "paying" for one dvd, I could only use one coupon. I guess about $10 each isn't bad plus it would cost me $5 to drive to the other ToysRus store.

Does that $3/disc replacement warranty have an expiration date? It's almost like a rental fee if you abused it (returning a disc, getting another one, etc).

Just got Casino Royale and Ratatouille at TRU in Fort Collins, CO, with the $5 coupon. Incredible deal, thanks OP.

There was no signage for the sale, and the clerk was suprised by the $21 total, but everything went through just fine...

yah, my clerk looked a little stunned also, but didn't question anything. Woburn, MA had a ton left including CR.

Not sure if things have changed since I worked at TRU (last year).

None of the warranty replacements are done in store. Usually you have to call the service number in the pamphlet the employee gives you and send your defective item in.

Picked up the 3 Pirates, Cars, Rat and Meet the Robinsons for $70 after tax, using 2 of the $5 coupons (the site wouldn't let me print out more). Next step: buy a player.

If you look on Ebay (completed auctions "lightning mcqueen cars die-cast blu"), the blu-ray version usually goes for over $39.

Thanks for the info. That is crazy! I guess I'll send in my $3.50 and my kid won't be playing with this one. It will go on ebay and pay for the DVDs I just bought....
