All store exclusives and freebies - 12/30/07 to 1/05/08, Happy New Year Edition

These weekly threads are for the posting and discussion of that particular week's store exclusives and freebies.

These lists will likely be incomplete until Thursday or so, since DVDs are released on Tuesday and one of us needs to visit all the stores to confirm things.

Links to the master list and to the previous and next week's thread are below.

Volunteers needed: I regularly go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and Walmart; but don't visit the other stores every week. If you work at or regularly go to the FYE/TWEC chains, Costco, Borders, K-mart/Sears, Barnes and Noble, Blockbuster, Hot Topic, or any other store that has DVD exclusives; I'd appreciate any updates you could give us.

All Stores - Thread for all movie cash and free ticket deals

Best Buy -
Resident Evil Extinction - tote bag (yes, when I think of the RE movies, I think tote bags)

Target -

All the Best Buys here in Northern VA were sold out of the Res Evil tote bag on Thurs (I didn't know they were open on New Years or i would've gone). Some stores said they might get more in.

Walmart has Res Evil:Extinction bundled with a free digital download for PSP or PC.
You can get it individually for around $16.96 or bundled with "Universal Soldier:The Return" for $19.96. "Shoot 'em Up" is also bundled with "Replacement Killers" for the same price.

I think the same goes for Moviestop. They were offering the bonus disc for reservations.

Hi. Does anyone know if the Gamestop bonus disc was given out with the movie? Or if you had to pay for it? I called the closest one to me and they told me it was $10 and doesn't come with the DVD itself if I bought it.. Thought, the DVD was $30, so maybe it would be better off if I just paid for the bonus disc itself..
Thanks

It was free if you bought the movie.

I'm kind of wishing I had just bought the bonus disc by itself.
