Picked up Smallville S6 for $14.99 at BestBuy-Please read how

1. When you first go into BestBuy, pick up their Ad
http://bestbuy.shoplocal.com/bestbuy...ncode=112207MW
2. Turn to the page that has Smallville for $14.99
3. Look to the left of the Smallville picture in the Ad "All Seasons" is what it states
-The fine print under that does state "Price are for season shown in Ad"
4. I took ad to one of the YELLOW shirt guy and showed him the "All Seasons" comment, then I asked him what the price of season 6 of Smallville would be.
-He replied "14.99"

5. Make sure you get the YELLOW shirt guy's name

6. When you go to pay, Season 6 will show for 48.99 (Or whatever)
-Show cashier the ad for Smallville and the "All Seasons" comment
-Tell the cashier that the YELLOW shirt guy said it would be only $14.99
7. Cashier went to the YELLOW shirt guy I talk to and confirmed the price

8. I paid and saved about $35

Now my collection of Smallville will be up to date on Christmas Morning!

Yeah, I noticed that statement and was kinda irked when it didn't show up online for $15. No way was I going in today to argue about it. I guess you did and from prior years experience I know you earned that money.

I thought about trying that for Family Guy v5, but didn't feel like it.

The ALL SEASONS is clearly under only Rescue Me and South Park.

Are managers wearing yellow shirts now? I know it used to normally just be Loss Prevention members who would not be caught up on the details of DVD sales.

I tried this earlier today when I went out, but on House: Season 3.

I just asked the cashier if the "All Seasons" applied to House Seasons 1-3. He didn't find anything wrong with the ad, so a manager came and gladly changed the price for me.

I got denied when I tried for the override with a yellow shirt. Oh well, YMMV. I think I'll try to use the Target flyer to get a price match (at BB or Wal-Mart) on House Season 1 tomorrow if I have time.

Yep...this is straight out of a Stephen King plot.

You will be awakened by a knock at your door at 2 A.M. by Yellow Shirt Guy demanding that you pay up the difference.

He may even be rattling chains...especially if his name was 'Marley'.

I would be obtaining a restraining order as soon as possible.

I got House and Las Vegas season 3's for 14.99. Just showed cashier the ad, and she over rode it herself. This was yesterday afternoon.

I needed House season 2, but they were out.

I tried it with Family Guy. Asked a couple of yellow shirts before I got in line. They scanned the other seasons and they came up at full price. Since they were nice and helpful, I didn't try to push it. It was BF morning and I had other deals to pursue.

Also, I disagree, I'm looking at the ad online. It cleary states above the section "These TV seasons on DVD"

And below it says "all Seasons."

I went to him for clearication about how both statements are on the same ad. If he had said it applied only to seasons for Rescue Me and South Park, I would have went with it.

The ad was confusing, so I ask and I saved.

I grabbed the flyer and the Smallville Season 6 set, and went to the checkout. It rang up at 48.99, so I acted confused and said I thought it was 14.99, and showed the cashier in the flyer where it said ALL SEASONS. He looked at the flyer for about four seconds, and changed the price as a price error. It didn't require a manager or anyone special.

And below that it says "Prices only available on seasons shown." You may be able to fast talk a cashier or manager into giving you the lower price, but it's going to be a YMMV thing.

Tried this for Nip/Tuck Season 4

and received it for $14.99. The checkout guy did not question me when I showed him the flyer stating "all seasons". He agreed so quickly, I didn't even notice whether he did a price override. I'm guessing that he did. Gave me the impression that he may have been through this earlier with other customers.
This was the Best Buy in Albany NY.
