I think some of the CYE sets are cheaper on CC's website.

Yeah, it is nice they are available today online, but really takes away when you add $2 each for shipping due to lack of in-store.

115 for Six Feet Under means that after tax and shipping DD is the way to go for me.

I really wish you could do in-store. I'd be all over Extras and FotC and maybe a few others. Shipping kinda kills it for me. Maybe I'll try in-store.

I would hold out on Extras, in the dvdtalk section it was pointed out that the only way to get the Christmas special will be to purchase the complete series set coming out in January.

They did in-store pick-up last year so I'm disappointed they didn't do it this year. I wanted a few things but I'll have to get them elsewhere, there's no way I'm dealing with that shopping frenzy tomorrow.

not sure if it's an unintentional side effect - but the HBO preorders are showing up on sale as well. The Wire Season 4 and Big Love Season 2 are $27.99 each. The Big Love seasons 1 and 2 combined set is coming up as 57.99. All 4 seasons of The Wire is $104.99.

That is a really nice catch on Wire Season 4 (not released until Dec 4) - that price even with $1.99 shipping is a good $7-8 cheaper than anywhere else.

Thanks Daryl!

Heckuva deal. Just before I order, if anyone can remember, has the Wire been available for cheaper previously? I'd imagine come next year, when the series completes after the fifth season, the complete set may be advertised for even less...

Except 6.2 is coming up at $49.99 for SD. I sure hope that isn't half-price.

I got Big Love S1/S2 combo. 64 bucks after shipping and tax is still a deal. 32 bucks a season. Very nice!
