I don't know if it was a mistake, but they also had Desperate Housewives 3 and Grey's Anatomy 3 for 24.99 and not 27.99 like the ad says.
this is likely a mistake and will be fixed overnight (I've seen this happen several times on Sunday mornings at Best Buy). I grabbed Ugly Betty and Brothers & Sisters for 19.99, but the cashier had to correct the price and they rang up for 27.99. If anyone has a BB nearby and wants these, i suggest going today.

Darn, I just got back from BB. I looked at Grey's Anatomy, but it was priced $49.99, and it did not occur to me to have them scan it. Oh well.

I tried to order online La Femme Nikita 1-5 and West Wing 1-7 with in store pickup. Only West Wing (all seasons) went through, Nikita was not available in store (Anchorage, AK).

After reading posts here, I ventured today to BB to check the shelves and see if I can find a few seasons of La Femme Nikita. Nada.

And they could not find my order for West Wing. Was told to come back later during the week. Best Buy..............

BTW: Seeing that you're from Cleveland, I'm assuming you're going to the same store I did, the Brookpark Road location.
Actually, I'm an East-sider, so I'll be heading out to Mentor to pick them up.

I had no trouble picking up the season of La Femme Nikita (Season 4) which I needed to complete my set. There were at least 3 copies of each season in stock at the University Place Best Buy (Charlotte, NC).

I wasn't as lucky in trying to get one of the Aquaman pilot discs.

The Best Buy ad clearly states: "Best Buy Exclusive. Aquaman Pilot Disc On Pack When You Buy Any Smallville Season."

Well, there were no Aquaman bonus discs affixed to the packs of any of the Smallville sets in this particular store.

But I did notice a sticker on most of the Season Five sets of Smallville which read: "Best Buy Exclusive. Aquaman Pilot Episode Bonus Disc Inside. While Supplies Last."

Well, Season Five was one of the ones I needed so I went ahead and bought one with this sticker on it, assuming that a pilot disc was inside, as stated.

But when I got home and opened the set, there was no Aquaman bonus disc anywhere to be found!

I'm going back tomorrow and see if they have a bonus disc laying around that they can give me or else exchange this set for another Season Five in hopes that this time the disc is really inside.

Hope my Smallville Season Five has the disc inside. I'm scared to open it now. I managed to pick up Nip/Tuck 2 and 3, Veronica Mars Season 2, Lois & Clark except Season 1, and La Femme Nikita except Season 2. So I ordered Veronica Mars Season 1, Lois & Clark Season 1, and La Femme Nikita Season 2 online. BF has come early for me this year with an XBox 360 add on player and a bunch of HD DVDs along with a HD-A2 player and another handful of HD DVDs. Life is good.

If you call BestBuy.com and tell them this, they should ship the order to your house free of charge. It's happened to me twice and twice I've gotten it shipped free with no hassle.

That's a great deal for Ocean's Thirteen with the free book. The Real Deal has a cover price of $19.95, and is one of the better poker books I've read.

When did they start the store pickup quarantee? I stopped doing in-store pickups because it would take up to 25-30 minutes for them to find orders.

The store I went to had the sign for Brothers and Sisters for $19.99. It rang up as $27.99. I brought the sign over to the cashier and she manually made the adjustment to $19.99 for me but she kept the sign.

Same thing with Grey's and Desparate Housewives. In those cases the sign said $24.99 but rang up $27.99. Again brought sign, they adjusted for me but kept signs.

Not sure, I noticed it on the E-mail in October, and have been hoping I'd have a reason to call it into play since. Unfortunately they've managed to beat the clock thus far. I guess I've been "lucky." I've really never had a problem with pickup.

But if they didn't have my order after getting the pickup notice, there's no way I'd let that go unresolved.

picked up smallville s5. had to make sure to find ones with the stickers. at first, the copies they had on their shelves were of the standard s5. pointed out the ad to one of the workers who looked like they had NO idea about what was going on. they went to check in the back and brought out a whole box of smallville dvds, including s5 with stickers that specifically state the aquaman disc is inside.

there's a sticker over the upc code as well, so that's one way to specify. also, you can sort of feel the extra disc. it's housed right under the front cover, so you can sort of feel it popping out. and if you look to the left, you can see the cardboard holder that the disc is housed in. all boxes looked like they had the disc without any issue (i checked pretty much all looking for the most pristine box because i'm crazy like that) but you might wanna double check to make sure.

ETA: i'm also really annoyed with the buena vista sale. i mean, that's great and all for the people who get to take advantage of great deals, but such low prices only a month after release, i think if i waited, i would've gotten a better overall deal even factoring the $30 rebate i got from sending the codes in... grrrr... kind of upsetting. if prices go down 6 months after release, i'm cool with that, but i can't believe how small the window is after initial release week that the prices decrease so dramatically. i really shouldn't buy on release day anymore... but sometimes i can't help myself

My Best Buy has a notice posted at customer service that is literally a whole sheet of of single spaced exclusions. Sure that I would be screwed by it somehow.

I just watched the Aquaman disc. Why, why, WHY(!) didn't they do this in widescreen? When the opening title comes up and all that fits on the screen is "QUAMA" you know it's trouble.

My copy of Smallville Season 5 had the sticker on the front and also the sticker over the UPC code.

I had also noticed that you could sort of feel the bonus disc (while I also sorted through the available sets for the most pristine box I could find).

I thought there was an Aquaman disc inside mine but there wasn't.

So if anyone else buys one, be sure to open it first thing when you get home and check for the disc.

I'm going back to Best Buy tomorrow to see what they'll do about the missing bonus disc.

I still don't know what was up with the ad stating that you would receive an Aquaman bonus disc with the purchase of any season of Smallville when it looks like they were only packed with certain copies of Season 5.

Only some copies of all 5 seasons have the bonus disc.

It will have the aquaman sticker on the front and a sticker upc over the upc on the back.

Found one for seasons 1-4 at my BB, but not for 5.

I got a raincheck for Nip/Tuck Season 3 and Lois & Clark 2,3,&4. I am going to go hit up another store to try and price match today.

I did try to get Veronica Mars S3, but that was a no go. I did that hoping for the same mistake I saw with Brothers and Sisters.

I had to drive to the store to find Smallville season 5 (since the website claimed they had none in any store nearby and wanted to charge me $1.99 to ship it) I found the last one still on the shelf and it had the sticker about Aquaman. I also saw a bulge in the front of the set so I knew it must have the disc inside. I opened it when I got home and found out the bulge was so noticeable because there were TWO Aquaman discs inside! Pretty cool, I know an Aquaman fan who I can give this to for an early Xmas present now. (this haphazard quality control may explain why some sets don't have ANY bonus discs inside though.)
