$10 Rebate on Spiderman 3 - No UPC required!!!!

Just thought some one might be interested in this. Purchase ANY Spiderman 3 DVD (regular, deluxe edition, blu-ray) & 6 specially marked boxes of Jolly Time popcorn; send in the 6 "spidey spots" from the popcorn and the original cash register receipt for Spiderman 3 with the price circled and receive a
$10 rebate in the mail.

Our local grocery store(Harris-Teeter) has had the popcorn on sale for Buy One Box, Get One Box FREE[comes out to be $1.20 a box].

I think this is a really good deal! Especially considering you do NOT have to mess with the UPC code on the Spiderman DVD!!

I think they did this for $5 on # 2; it is a good deal. Thanks, HDN.

So, without a sale, you'd have to buy $14.40 worth of popcorn to get the $10 off? Am I reading that right?

Thanks for posting, but it looks like you'd have to get creative (or really love popcorn! ) to get this to work out.

$1.20 X 6 = $7.20

The top post says that B1G1 comes out to $1.20 a box, meaning usually it's $2.40 a box, and $2.40 X 6 = $14.40

Thanks for the post! I have to say that Jolly Time makes the best Kettle Corn popcorn (in my opinion), so I'm going to stock up (and pick up Spidey 3 too).

BTW - Jolly Time's web site (www.jollytime.com) also has printable coupons for $1 and $1.50 off various types of popcorn, making the deal even better.

$2.40 (price of popcorn not on sale) x 6 = $14.40.

For someone who buys this popcorn anyway, it may be a deal. But I don't think I spent $14 (or even $7) on popcorn during an entire year. Won't work for me.

So if we've already purchased Spiderman 3 online and then went out and purchased the required boxes of popcorn, could we send in both receipts (the popcorn and old spider man receipts) and get the refund still? Or do you have to buy spiderman with the popcorn?

They can be bought at different times; as long as you have receipts for each purchase (Spiderman 3, popcorn), you should be good.

OK cool. One thing that concerns me slightly is that the rebate form specifically says "Cash register receipt" as if it were to be bought at a physical B&M store. I bought mine from FYE.com and only have a receipt I could print out in my email or something like that. The terms threatened that you cannot send in copies or other reproductions of the cash register receipt. Think there would be any problem?

This might sound slightly shady, but I've often had an idea for use in these possible "need a receipt just for a rebate" situations.

Just buy Spider-Man 3 again, at say Target or Best Buy. Return it the next day (or whenever) without the receipt, they can look it up for you as long as you use a credit card. Keep the receipt and use that for the rebate.

The store you are "abusing" is only losing the 45 seconds of time it takes to punch in a return, so if I ever had to do this I don't think I'd feel guilty.
