that's exactly why I left right after I saw this thread. scored 1 set of 5 games, didn't want to raise flags if I had used a second coupon.

Can anyone tell if a blockbuster membership is really required for this? Thanks.

Worked in San Ramon, CA. No Wii games - which was what I was mainly looking for, but did manage to get the Deluxe King Kong 3-Disc edition (21.99) along with 4 other 14.99 DVDs for ~$27. Thanks a lot.
They did ask me for my membership card though....

Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to try this out today. This seems like the kind of coupon that would work with your typical part-time 18-year old employee, as opposed to dealing with a manager.

You don't have to have a membership to make purchases. And because of that I really don't think it would block it on a membership account if somebody tried it twice, but it's better just to do it as a regular non member.

Anyone else tried it yet?
looks like period is spelled properly to me

Well hopefully it is still good in the morning.

Just got back from a FL store. Grabbed 4 PS3 games and a DVD, went up to the guy, and presented it. He said he had never seen it before but would call his manager to make sure that it was legit. Apparently, it doesn't scan into the system which made him think it was a one-time use that was already redeemed. Supposedly if I come back tomorrow when his manager can check up on it and give the override, they can do it. So it seems it is real!

I plan on just going to other stores in the early AM and hopefully it works at just one. It is an amazing deal.

I don't understand the override??? If the coupon doesn't scan with the barcode, they always just key in the code on my coupons. I print them off all the time from email and on Blockbuster.com and the barcode never comes out scannable, but they don't need a manager override. The clerk just types the code in and I am on my way.

It would work on box sets. At least at stores accepting it and have allowed it to be used on games. Apparently YMMV with this one.

Man, I can't stop thinking about what a deal it would have been.

Was this requiring overrides for everyone?

Thanks

I understand it works in the system, but I think I'll get shut down because its too sweet of a deal.
Dude, this coupon doesn't seem to be any error, just read it!!! It says it can be used on any price previously viewed and played games!

I will test this in Connecticut tomorrow afternoon and if it works...oh baby.
