The EAA Home Entertainment Sale dates are Sat. Oct 13th (opening time is never announced) through 3 PM (PT) Friday Oct. 26th. NEW LOWER PRICES THIS YEAR - DVD's only $8, and lots of first run blockbusters!

Passwords will be e-mailed out by your company coordinator by October 10th or 11th.

www.entertainmentAidsalliance.net. The title lists will be available for preview soon, please review all ordering instructions and processing fees.

Should you require customer service, it is available via e-mail only to: [email protected].

** Every attempt will be made to respond to e-mail inquiries in a timely fashion. You will get an e-mail confirmation after you place your order and again when it ships. Order status can be checked on-line, as well. Customer service can not provide passwords, does not know who your company coordinator is for obtaining password information and can not add items to an order once it's placed. Customer service will not know when an order will ship - we have to wait until the studios send in all inventory (we can not ship a partial order).

Uh, no it's not dude. Have you ever taken part in a EAA/VIAAC sale before? As soon as the sale begins, their system gets overloaded and it pretty much stays that way all day, until the bulk of the stuff is sold out.

So maybe next time you should figure out what you're talking about before you mouth off.

Somehow the point of this thread escapes me as the entitled membership would be well aware of this event and it is of no benefit to the VAST majority of the readers here. It is like broadcasting the selections of a private sale. Great prices but of no help to almost all of us.

I posted it for the people who might be friends of members. In the past it's got much more positive feedback. I don't mind skipping it next year. It's no skin off my teeth.

So, all you bitchers, be happy that you might have cost the friend of a studio employee the chance to get in on this in the future.

I actually thought my post might help a few people. I do shy away from the posting when I've found a single mispriced item at a B&M which would benefit virtually nobody. I see a lot of people posting in DVDtalk who mention their studio connections.

If I post about it next year, I'll make sure to mention in the title that it's only open to employees of participating studios. That way maybe only people who have interest in the sale will open the topic.
