I'm not sure what you are saying. Amazon has a pre-order for "Sid & Nancy", although it looks like a standard release. The Best Buy ads shows a disc with a different cover which is also labeled "Collector's Edition". Are there really two separate releases, with one of them being a Best Buy exclusive? Or maybe the two releases are the same, and Best Buy has an exclusive slipcover.

Sadly, the Best Buy ad gives no further information.

Why? Already got the ad in my local paper anyways. It starts on Sunday and not a week or two from now.

According to bestbuy.com:

Additional Features: My Way - The Making of Sid and Nancy Love Kills - The Real Life of Sid and Nancy The Hotel Chelsea - If These Walls Could Talk!

These are not on the old release (circa 2000) nor the Criterion. I saw a ton of copies of this at my local BB on Thursday and it caught my attention. I hadn't seen any ads for a new release, so it makes sense that this is a Best Buy exclusive DVD. I'll stick with my Criterion.

I don't see a pre-order for this on Amazon but only see the Criterion & the previous release from 2000. I don't believe that this will have exclusive content but rather this might be an exclusive in the sense that Best Buy will be the first ones to sell these, then it will be availbale for sale later in the year through other retailers. Kinda like what they did a couple of weeks ago with the Alien Nation set.

Well, I'll be picking up Poltergeist (and maybe Twilight Zone: The Movie, if funds allow).

And now I've got another BB steelbook to try and get after Planet Terror.

There are about 40 dvds for $8.99 at my Best Buy, they were all located at the beginning of the new release section. They are not advertised in the weekly circular or at bestbuy.com, but there were a few decent titles. Sorry, I can only remember a few: Ghostbuster I & II set, Meatballs, Wall Street SE...

Do you think Best Buy will accept the record from my Reward Zone card as proof that I purchased the set? I'd like the get the $2 back, as well, but have long since thrown out the receipt because I never expected to see this one go on sale.

Is the Roots bonus disc exclusive to the Next Generations or is it also included with the complete set?

Anyone pick up Reign Over Me? The website has it up for $16.99, while the ad says $19.99. What does it ring up as? Just wondering so I don't have to bother with doing an in-store pickup order.

If you paid by credit card, they should be able to easily re-print your receipt. Otherwise, they can indeed look it up by RZ but it takes longer...
