25% off all CDs & DVDs through 10/4 @ SecondSpin.com!

As always, from my email:

We only do it a few times a year - so, you know it's big! This week only, get 25% off all CDs and DVDs! Just use the promo code 25off928 at checkout. But hurry...this sale ends October 4th!

Your friends at SecondSpin.com.
This time around, I went with a bunch of CDs I've been wanting, which made the prices REALLY low.

Enjoy!

Has anyone ever ordered HD-DVDs from them? What condition should I expect my discs to arrive in?

Personally, I don't have an HD player, so I've never ordered HD DVDs from them, but I have ordered MANY regular DVDs and DVD box sets, and they've always been in great condition (many of the "watched once" variety, so they're basically brand-new).

^ Thanks for the response. Getting two HD-DVDs (Last Samurai and Training Day) for $12.74/each after shipping and taxes was too good to pass up. Hopefully, they arrive in the same condition your DVDs have arrived in.

Whoa... anybody else notice that A Scanner Darkly HD DVD is only $9.99 before discount? Grab it quick, though... I just got one, and it says there are 3 copies left.

Yeah, I noticed it after I placed my above mentioned order and had to place another order.

Wherehouse.com, the sister site with the SAME used stock, just had a 30% off sale of all used AND new items. I wonder why they think secondspin customers only desereved 25%.

And not to be outdone, Wherehouse.com (as previously indicated, the sister site of SecondSpin) is offering free shipping on all orders, including international, through October 4th.

For one week only, get Free Standard or International Shipping on every order from Wherehouse.com! Just use the promo code FS928 at checkout. But hurry - this offer is valid for one week only. Use the promo code as many times as you want or forward it to a friend. Offer expires 10/04/07. Start shopping and saving now!

Thanks again for shopping at Wherehouse.com!

...and I wonder why International Shipping is ONLY to Great Britain. What about the rest of Europe.

25% is a good sale but with shipping and tax I am hesitating.

*stares at his filled cart for awhile*

True, but I've noticed that in many cases the prices are the same.

On another note, I had to buy like $140 worth of merch before I was able to squeak through with 15% discount (after shipping and handling) at the Wherehouse.com sale.

I picked up Training Day HD-DVD for $13 and change. Pretty good deal.
