Looks like I'll pick up Family Guy Vol. 5 using my free $20 GC I got from the skate. fiasco. That's only $5 out of pocket.

I might price match Lost S2 for the BB RZ points. I've been wanting to pick that up for some time now.

Has this worked with anybody else yet?

I can't decide what TV DVDs to get. I really want the first three seasons of CSI, Season 3-5 of ER, & Seasons 3-7 of West Wing. I obviously don't have enough money for all of them.

does the receipt reflect some sku/item number that the cashier entered? maybe you can post it so that others trying to buy seasons of shows can ask the cashier to enter the promo and see if it works with their choices.

For anyone interested, I checked the 2 for $12 display for the 'additional titles available in store' -- not too many extra ones to pick from.

I recall seeing Brewster's Millions and The Longest Yard (the Burt Reynolds' one). If I remember any more, I'll try to add 'em.

If you threadcrap in here, you're getting an automatic suspension for a week, or more, depending on how pissed off I am because you're too damn stubborn to keep dumb and useless comments to yourself. If you don't want to shop at CC, great, live your life and be happy, don't turn it into some sort of conquest in life. I'll get to the other thread soon, so just a warning.

the receipt has UPC by the codes for the DVD's but the promo thing says PKG

Promo Package is the description it gives

000000028038 or 000000028036 or 00000002803B (I honestly can't tell what the last number or letter is, so thats the numbers it could be)

and it says "A Promotional Discount has been applied"

I didn't hand them any cards or certificates or coupons and have no idea what promotion is going on that could make it work...is just what came up on the receipt

I'm interested to see what the other "in-store" titles are for the 2 for $12 DVDs. I'd like to get Major League but I either own or am not interested in the other titles listed.

Anyone know what those other titles are that aren't listed?

I'd hate to haul my rear out there just for a $6.00 movie.

See my post above (#9) -- there's not too many additional titles there. I was in the same boat as you, interested in Major League. I walked out empty-handed because I couldn't find a 2nd title that I wanted.

Unlike best buy where you must buy bolth items to get the package price, at circuit city the "twofers" always ring the sale price straight up. Unless they have changed recently, I have always only been charged the sale price for 1 item. Probably done that 15 times in the last few years, and never had to buy 2. Best Buy however is a whole different story.

Hmmm... Didn't know that. My experience has been with Best Buy and so I didn't even bother trying it at CC.

Anyone thinks Lost S2 will drop past $29.99 around the time S3 is released?

^ for sure. if not before release, then probably the week of. usually best buy/cc/target will have previous seasons on sale when the new season is on ad. given how old the season will be at the time and the track record for buena vista shows, i assume $29.99 will be the likely price. occassionally i've seen bv shows go for $29.99, but i rarely see them get a price drop to $19.99

Did not know about the special deal when you buy season 1-3 of csi.
I went and got s2-s3 of each.

3 of them rang up as 15.32 and 1 rang up as 21.99.
My cashier just scanned the items.

Looks like if you buy any 3 then you get them for $15.32

i was going to pricematch at BB and get RZ points, but they had no CSI Miami and only season 2 of CSI.

And I wanted both

Picked up Fox & The Hound for $13. Seasons of CSI for $15 may just lead to a blind buy on my behalf, though.
