I'd be interested in some of these, but I don't think there's any Fred Meyer's near me...

No they are not the same, nor are they related.

Fred Meyer is part of Kroger.

I'd love to get "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman", especially for that price, but I've never even heard of that store so I doubt there is one anywhere near me.

Fred Meyer is a chain of stores specific to the Pacific Northwest. Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and maybe northern California, but that's about it, I think.

As a former employee of Fred Meyer, you can find the stores in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Other Kroger owned stores like Smith's and Fry's (not Fry's Electronics) might have this deal.

I will have to check it out since there my Freddy's is right down the road.

Oh one last thing...they had a huge FOX displayer out on the floor and on it was at the very bottom are copies of Wall Street and Commando, the new versions! Out early! I got Commando the other day with the $3 off coupon in the ad that ends today.

Many thanks to cranberries fan for the heads-up on this sale.
(By the by, I ordered Dolores O'Riordan's Are You Listening? CD from BMG a few days ago...)

I picked up Archie Bunker's Place: S1, Hazel: S1 & Mary Hartman...V. 1, all for $30.

Thanks, OP. Picked up Mary Hartman, Maude, and Soap season 3 at Fred's on Hawthorne in PDX. They still had plenty left last night. Don't know how long the sale is going on.

Thanks for the heads up on the FOX titles. Since Columbia House doesn't carry FOX titles, I'm always looking for good deals on those. Found the sales tag for Commando: DC at my local Fred Meyer, but no copies on the shelf. Had the sales guy check his system and he showed that one copy should be available. He checked some boxes of unshelved DVDs and found the one copy! Great deal on a new release
