^ Right. I got it through Columbia House so I'm not in on this one, but it's well worth it.

Coincidentally, I rewatched 'All about my mother' tonight :)

And Volver is an enrollment selection now. I'll get it the next time I cancel and enroll again.

According to this Columbia House's link , the set contains 4 movies only and 1 disc ??? Is there any link for non-members to view the set correctly?

Not sure, the set on Amazon is defintely a 9-disc one but couldn't get hold of any proper link on CH for the set. Juts wanted to check the set's price at CH before going ahead with the purchase on Amazon!

I've purchased one Viva Pedro set for myself and two as gifts on ch for $20.99.

The sets my friends and I have gotten from CH have been 9-disc.

I had never heard of this director or these films before, but I saw a lot of folk here talking about him so I ordered Volver from Netflix. Enjoyed the movie so I bought the box set, and it's been the best $29 ($20 + shipping) I've spent on discs in a long time.

FYI: All About My Mother is scheduled to be on HDNet Movies sometime in September.

Did someone mention that CH has this for like 20 bucks :)

There is no 4-disc set (cancelled), CH only has the 9-disc set, so what are you waiting for? Volver is also a great film to get separately, definitely one of his best.

I don't think this was pointed out... This fantastic set counts as a fulfillment title at CH, so if you join, you only need to buy one other fulfillment, and you still get all those enrollment titles for 49 cents each...

CH doesn't accept international memberships so i can never have any stuff from them just like BB,CC or Target ..phew :(

Placed an order with Amazon being fully aware of the fact that i could have got the set and the additional movie for around 20-25 bucks less from CH.
