Ordered Spawn for instore pickup. Will pick it up tomorrow when I go get Office. Had to do it this way since it looks like it ends tonight.

Yep. That sucks. I bought it for $27.99 on 7-24-2007 and now it's $14.99!!! Why buying anything the week of anymore? I wanted the bonus comic but it wasn't worth an extra $13.00. Jeez.

I know I will buy Sunny in Philly this week and it will be 10 bucks in 6 weeks. Ugh.

I'm surprised BB is listing it for $37.99... even Amazon has it at $34.99. If nobody has any better offers or exclusives, I may just get it at Amazon...

That was one with the screw-up where Target got the BB bonus discs as well in most cases.

Not sure if this is at all Best Buys but they did not have any Resident Evil Sets with the bonus disk. I asked and was told it did not arrive yet. Walmart had the set so I know it was not delayed.

Anyone open the Office BB Exclusive box yet? I'm wondering if S3 is sealed inside. If so, then i can sell it and buy the Target version with the bonus disc...

Yeah, the Office S3 DVD is sealed in the gift set. On the under-side of the lid, there's also One Schrute Buck.

It's sealed. The product inside the box is surprisingly nice. The dundie is heavier than I thought, and the letter is from Michael Scott. Also, lol, there is a 'Schrute Buck' attached inside the top of the box (which is nice itself). The bobble head is encased in styrofoam, and the dundie is wrapped in plastic and a brown paper.

I did notice on my Dundie that there were gold/gray lines all over the base, which, I assume, is supposed to imitate a gold/marble look at the bottom. Can anyone else confirm if there's is like this?

Thanks!
-Stephen

Yep, my Dundie has a gold/gray base, too. It's similar to the image of the Dundie on the cover of the box-set lid.

Anyone else?

Is the set the same everywhere, or is the movie cash/concession cash exclusive to BB?

The Dundie Award is 7"x3"x3" and is a guy with a breifcase in gold. It is rather heavy. The bobbleherad is very small. It is about 3 1/4" high and about a 1 1/4" base. It is quite small. The 'Shrute buck' is actually part of the case. It cannot be removed. The letter is very funny though. A great deal for an extra $10.

Check the sci fi section, I didn't see the RE set in the store, I asked and they said they didn't have it. Only to walk over to the sci-fi section and find it there. I think the only thing exclsuive to best buy is the bonus disc. I could be wrong though. I passed on it afterall, since it's only the one disc version of each film. There is a 4 disc set out there somewhere isn't there?

Just a heads-up for those wanting the S3 special box set of The Office from Best Buy, it looks like quantities are limited. In the thread about this set in the main DVDTalk forum, one person found only about 20 copies at their Best Buy this morning. I just got mine and it was the last one in stock at my Best Buy.

So if you want this set, I recommend getting it today if you can. There's no telling how many (or few) of these might actually be out there.

Even if it is the 1 disc versions, I figure that a ticket to the new movie, ($5?) concession cash, a bonus disc, and two films to give away as gifts are worth well more than $15.

Just a FYI but I got mine at 10:45 and there were at least a dozen left if not more. It looked like I was one of the first to get one. I don't think these will sell out like the 300 set did. Maybe in a few weeks.

Went back because I forgot to pick up "Robot Chicken: Season Two". As a UPS truck go into the back. Waited about ten minutes then asked for assistance. Another ten minutes later... got it ("Resident Evil"). Looks like there was a glitch. I got two theater vouchers. Sway.

There are supposed to be two vouchers (at BB only). One is for a ticket up to $10.50, the other is for $5 in concessions.
