Anyone find RoboCop?
Trying to figure out who has the best deal around of Best Buy, CC, FYE, or Walmart.
In addition, apparently there are copies that have 2 - Disc 1's and no Disc 2 It is either that or they put the content of disc 1 on disc 2 with different art on that disc. Any other reports out there? |
Wal-Mart had a facing for it but no product out first thing this morning. I didn't happen to notice the price though.
|
tons of the steelbook at my BB, $19.99.
|
19.99 is too high for this, Didn't someone mention wal-mart having it for 14.99?
Is the online CC price of 17.99 the same in store? Not that anyone should ever shop there again. |
If you don't mind waiting, you can buy it on Amazon for $15.99. I also ordered Serenity for $17.99 (I chose free shipping).
|
No Robocop Steelbook (or Serenity: CE) at Target either...
|
Yes I did find him he is in "Old Detroit" taking out the scum of the earth one bullet at time.
Drop it dead or alive your coming with me. |
Is this the unrated version?
|
According to some reports the steelbook has 2 discs with just the regular version. But I cannot seem to verify this beyond a couple of sources.
It is supposed to have both the theatrical and unrated versions of the movie in anamorphic with DTS. |

I glanced at the back cover & it did not mention containing both the theatrical & director's cut (unless I was overlooking it). It just stated that the dvd was unrated in small print on the back. |

$14.49 at fye.com. Add another item to bring the total over $25 and get free budget shipping. I added Serenity [Collector's Edition] for $19.99 which has a $7 rebate.
|
Got it at BB. They only had 5 at 10am this morning on the shelf.
|
Plenty of copies in Manchester in the regular aisle.
|
PLenty of copies at the Hamilton Place BB at a low price of 19.99
FYE and CC did not have any. |

My order came to $32.89 inc tax and free shipping. With the $7 rebate, the total sale will be $25.89. That comes to $12.95 per movie. Not bad. |
if your BB PMs based on websites (mine often does)...CC's 17.99 would work.
'Swhat I did, though certainly a YMMV. |
Found mine. Had to go to 2 Wal-Marts though. As EdTheRipper wrote, one of the stores I visited had the label on an empty shelve space. The same thing happened to me when I went hunting for "The Monster Squad".
|
$19.96 at my WM. They had 5-6 of them...
|
If you have a BJ's near ya, it was $14.99 there.
