Thanks for the price update!

I just got an email from Amazon stating that they will refund my account the difference between the old price and the new price. Nice!

I'm in for one. It's one of the many blind buys I have added to my collection, since joining this forum. All the hoopla makes this a no brainer for me.

My wife just called and said Oldboy has arrived at home.

If you can find it in stock at Borders, the 30%-off coupon brings Oldboy down to $28 + tax.

Just got mine and it's totally destroyed. I ordered another one and sending the destroyed one back tomorrow. Not going to chance it and go through the replacement process.

I'm not even being anal about this, the case looks like it was kicked all the way to my doorstep. Loose discs, chipped paint. Just horrible looking.

Amazon will send out a replacement copy right away via next day air. They do not charge you for this replacement. All that you need to do is to print out the return postage label and make sure that you mail it back to them within 30 days.

Makes me suspect that their selling off their damaged returns or something. Probably too early to speculate though.

My case has a small dent. Overall, I'm a bit more impressed with this set than I thought I would be. I may hold onto it afterall.

I think that you're onto something. Amazon is usually excellent with protecting the product with their packaging. Now, all of a sudden, they find a new allotment of this OOP item and there are multiple reports of damaged sets. It makes me wonder.

Mine was great. No chips, no dents, no loose or scratched discs.

Mine arrived in good condition, as well. The cards inside have a little bit of wear on the corners (probably from banging around in there during shipping - I told myself to "just let it go" ), but other than that everything looks great.

And man, I am glad I picked this up. It really is a nicer set than I had originally expected... plus my one-discer never played right so I was intending on replacing it(and the worst part was the disc skipped at... well, the really good stuff at the end).

checked the status on mine, and even though my credit card hasn't been charged, they do list the shipping arrival as estomated between 23rd-29th August, so once I see the charge I'll be waiting.

Got mine yesterday, and it has a fairly major dent in the back. The shipping box didn't look beat up at all, and it shows signs of anything that could've caused this dent. The cards look a bit roughed up, but nothing major. I'll probably just end up keeping this copy.
