Never watched more than a few snippets when it was on TV, but it's surely got to make for at least $5 worth of entertainment, right?

It's got a rating of 8.1 at IMDB, 8.5 at TV.com, and a very solid DVD review here at DVDTalk. If I see it for $5, I'll pick it up. If I can find Through the Fire, I'll pick that up as well. Thanks for pointing these out!

wow, i paid $19.95 for my set and it was worth every penny. If anyone finds this at $5 this would be one hell of a blind buy.

nice find op

I was happy way back when I got it for like 28 shipped. It is a no brainer at that price. You could not rent it that cheap.

I'd grab it at that price, but no copies at my Wal-Mart.

Thanks Goddfather! My Wal-Mart actually had both, so picked 'em up. There was one more of Playmakers that I saw but I didn't see any other Through the Fire.

This is the Springfield, Oregon Super WM for anyone in the area. It's also possible W11 would also have it...

If my local Wal-Mart has them, I'll definitely grab a copy of each.

contemplated picking this up when it was $20, but held off. Next time I'm at Wally World I'll be sure to check it out. Was it in the dump bin or on the end shelving?

even better since their site lists it as $33.XX

It's a really strong series that the NFL shot down.

I know next to nothing about football but I really enjoyed this set when it was first discounted by Wal*Mart a few years back.

Cuba Gooding's brother Omar is in it.

They were in the bin. They still had the other ESPN movies on the shelves at regular prices.

I'm going out tomorrow to see if I can find it in any of the Raleigh, NC stores. I know there is at least one other Raleigh DVDer here, so if that person finds it before me, PLEASE POST.

Didn't find either of these today at my local store (in the bin or on the shelf).

stopped by the closest WalMart tonight but the bin was turned over pretty good and after a few minutes of looking, gave up. I'll try back there later in the week to see if I have any luck. Give them a chance to tidy it up a bit.

My Walmart, that has it's dump bin as a nicely arranged shelf, didn't have this. It wasn't in the ESPN section either. Ill try the other one near by tommorow, as I want to find First Night.

Might be a bit of a drive, but I'm about 90% sure the Hillsborough store still has some...

I picked up both Playmakers and Through the Fire at a WalMart today for $5 each. They weren't in the bin, but instead on little hanging side racks on one of the end-caps.
