When it says SJ only for example, does that mean that the price is only good at that location or just that it showed up in that paper's ad, but the price is probably good at all Fry's? yeah, i can't believe that hd and br are already dropping that much on sale but i'm happy. i'm on the fence about getting the 360 HD-DVD so this helps re: the prices, I always notice that if it's on special in San Jose then the stores here in Los Angeles also have it on special.. usually just not as good. i.e. if a DVD is on sale for 6.99 in SJ it might be on sale for 7.99 or 8.99 here. rarely, i walk in and see things for the same sale price but it seems from my frequent comparisons that SJ gets 95% of the real killer Fry's deals. don't know about LV, DFW or other locations though. another thing I notice about Fry's is, one out of every five or six times I go - I see something that wasn't even advertised that's a great deal. weird store, but they manage to keep me coming back. |

Went to Renton Fry's yesterday, they had all the Blu-Ray and HD stuff from the ad except the one I wanted, HD-DVD Corpse Bride (they had lots of the Blu-Ray version, didn't even have a slot for the HD-DVD version). So don't go there just for that!

Picked up Superman II BD they were out of stock of Corpse Bride but I was able to get a raincheck and still pay $13.99 when it comes back in stock. If anyone misses the movie they went for just ask for a raincheck. There is nothing in the add about "while supplies last", and if that's true then usually they give you a rain check no problem.

the anaheim frys did not the the anniversary field of dreams on sale, it was the older edition.

If it shows up in one of the other ads, it is usually on sale here. The only way to know for sure, is to check your local ad or head to the store.
