speedy, you say you still have a few of those BestBuy bonus discs for 300? ANy way I could get one from you, since I missed the boat when they were originally in store, and now it looks like not everything made it to the 2-disc DVD.

I honestly skipped it when I saw it. I think I might take the plunge for that one as well.

Thanks for the prices, Speedy!

300 for me. As much as I'd like to get the version with the helmet, it's not worth the extra expense, to me, so, I think I'll just pick up the 2-Disc set. Who knows? I'm so impulsive, once I see the Exclusive, I might go for it! Someone talk me out of it!

I am pretty confident that the LOTR sets are NOT the four disc set special editions. I was in walmart today and they have the three sets of movies in extended edition packaging that looks almost identical to the 4-disc set packaging (does not have any picture on the front like the previously released 2-disc extended edtions). It said extended edition, and these were 2-disc sets and they had them for 14.99 each....

I have about $25 in Reward Zone certificates to use, so I'll be picking up the 300 LE with helmet. I'm a sucker for exclusive sets...

Thanks, Speedy =)

Definetely buying that 2-Disc LE of 300. Plus Shaun of the Dead + Hot Fuzz for 20$. Lot of good deals too. I may have to pick up the Uncorked Edition of Wedding Crashers for the free ticket too Rush Hour. Big sales going on at Best Buy.

Thanks for the great work as usual Speedy! While I'm a weekly lurker on your thread, I rarely post. Hot Fuzz will be a blind buy and the Popeye tin is a must have for me. I still can't decide on which version of 300 to get (the 2 disc version or the LE with helmet or the hd version).

anybody know if the V For Vendetta was also Limited Edition (the one with the mask), don't think i will be able to get there early enough for the 300, since it says minimum 15?

Guys who are upset about the lack of the steelbook, I wouldn't worry too much, yet.

Does anyone remember if The Departed steelbook was in the weekly sale ad? I don't remember it being there, but a lot of BB's still had the steelbook in stock on release day. Like I said, I don't remember it being in there, so there still may be a chance for the steelbook. If it was in there, it ain't looking too great that we'll get it.

Hopefully we'll see if Targets 3-disc is a good one.

It was an LE. One BB near me still has a couple left, so you SHOULD be fine. But 300 is more popular than V was, so it may be a different scenario.
