The lenticulars in the 9.44 area

They're changing things -

i picked up Star Trek 5-10 (7.50 a piece)
Scary Movie 1-3 (7.50 a piece)

everything that came out last year (Prestige, Borat, illusionist, eragon etc.) now 13.72

I'm guessing from the previous couple of posts and my experience tonight that perhaps most Wal-marts are going through a re-organization with the DVD department. Tonight, I found probably 50% of the DVD shelves empty...didn't have time to track down an associate to ask about it. The only thing that resembled a normal look was the $5 display--all the other displays/shelves had big gaps where DVDs would normally be. Very strange...

THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE
THE OMEN
SILVER BULLET and many more that I don't recall - and they're all priced at $5 each.
Visited my local Wal-Mart to also witness the "strange goings-on" with the half empty DVD department. The Halloween section was complete, though, with the above mentioned titles for $5 each plus:
THE DEAD ZONE
GRAVEYARD SHIFT
all three OMEN films
PET SEMATARY 2
THE PROPHECY
ROSEMARY'S BABY
SLEEPY HOLLOW
and a few more!

Picked myself up Dead Zone and Day the Earth Stood Still

Most of the Fox Lenticulars at my Wal-Mart were full-frame, so caveat emptor.

And, goddammit, why does Wal-Mart only stock full-frame/pan and scan DVDs when both FF and WS are available, yet three fourths of the televisions they sell are FUCKING WIDESCREENS???

Maybe I'll check out Walmart for some of these $5 Halloween themed titles. I want to check out their Halloween decor anyway.

Picked up Lifeboat, good deal. Does anyone know which version of The Haunting it is. They hadn't finished setting up the display when I was there.

I picked up the Napoleon Dynamite 2 disc with t-shirt today. I really had to resist getting X-Men 3. I really want to finish the collection, but I'm assuming they'll double dip eventually since the first two have multiple versions.

Still no Hellboy 3 disc around here though. It's too bad too, I'd really like to have that.

This isn't DVD related, but if any one else here uses Axe body wash Wal-Mart has a pretty good deal available right now. They've got gift packs on clearance for $5. Each contains two bottles plus a "she-devil duck". The duck is useless, but 2/$5 is a good deal, usually the stuff is on sale 2/$7.

When I went today it was the one with the murderous mutant bear. Other one not mentioned:
Buiffy the Vampire Slayer (Movie)
The Relic
Killer Tomatoes Strike Back
In Dreams

They didn't have any stephen King films except for Pet Semetery 2

I picked up:

Omen II and III
Killer Tomatoes Strike Back
Pet Sematary Two
Edward Scissorhands

May go to another Wal-Mart tomorrow to find Dead Zone, Silver Bullet and Graveyard Shift.

Long time lurker here. Picked up "Lifeboat", which I always meant to get since it was released, glad I waited. I also was able to find the "Escape from NY SE" that seemed gone from the 5.00 bin forever. I can't decide if I want to keep it or take it to Best Buy/Borders and exchange for something else.
