Star Trek - Movies Collection (Walmart) $7.50

Seems like Walmart has the 2-Discs Star Trek Movies Collection (I,II,III and IV) for $7.50.

Was looking for V and VI as well but was told by WalMart staff they don't have that available.

Yeah.
These all retail for $12.99... Star Trek II and VI might be the best in the series..

I was glad to get to see VI in the theatre too bad I was only 3 when Kahn came out.

I was hoping they misspriced the boxset on the web too hehe.

I'm still just hoping to find a copy of Voyage Home that's in an original case. These overlapping disc cases are awful. I want a full 3 flat one for my 2 disc, darnit. I've got a sealed overlapper...but I want the old, heavier style.

I have the original 1-6 set with the flap that seperates the discs, you might want to try getting that set or the newer one with movies 1-10.

Me too. I thought this was a collection of all of the movies mispriced for $7.50. These movies are contantly in the $7.xx range. Suncoast had them for $4.99 the other day. That deal might still be going on...

Unfortunately I do in fact have 1-8 separately. I've opened 1, but know of a source for exchanging it (if I can ever be bothered to do it). Just can't find one for Voyage Home for some reason.

Cheers though; I've been wondering if those would be a good source...

I found five of the 2-disc Star Trek movies (5, 6, Generations, First Contact, and Nemesis) for $7.50 each at Wal-Mart this week. They were not in the rack display with other $7.50 movies. Instead, they were in the main movie aisle with a mix of new and older titles, with the older ones in alphabetical order (more or less).

I was at Wallyworld in Canandaigua, NY a few weeks ago and they had all of them (1-10). But my local store in Williston, VT, has none. Total YMMV.

This is a pretty good deal if you don't want to fork out dough for the mega box set and don't want the lousy Next Generation flicks.

I bought Part 6 when it first came out and it did not come with a booklet. I remember there being some controversy among the Inserts fanatics.

I just checked my copy of Part 1 (which I bought years ago), and that does, in fact, have a booklet.

Yeah, paramount totally botched up these releases. From mismatching artwork, to missing inserts, to changed cases. Terrible.
