Fantastic 4: EE $9.99 at Best Buy

Noticed this online last night, did an instore pickup, and it was indeed the EE. For $9.99 with a free $8.50 movie ticket that's a pretty good deal.

I don't see the free ticket offer on that link. Can you go to a BB B&M store and buy the DVD for $9.99 and get this deal? Or is (was?) it only an online thing?

How do the free tickets work? Do you get a coupon you can hand in at any theatre to get a free ticket?

The free ticket is inside the DVD package. It's a coupon that functions sort of like a pre-determined check.

I think this is a price mistake or something since the original release is $9.99 in the ads. But I took my receipt down and they price adjusted it (I brought the printout of the page), so got $7 back.

Thanks OP!

Ordered it for in-store pickup with the $25 gift card I got from Safeway this week for buying 10 Pepsi (buy 2 12 pack cases get 2 free plus 24 ct. water!) and Firto-Lay products!

Just ordered one for store pick up as well. Hope it's the right one because I've been waiting to pick this one up at a cheaper price and $9.99 is a price I'm willing to jump at. Thanks OP!

Yeah, I posted about this earlier this morning. There is also a $4 off manufacturer coupon floating around out there if we could get someone to scan it. See my post for details.

This would make it $5.99 for the extended edition dvd put movie cash. Great deal!

Bought one in store this evening for $9.99. I only found one copy on the shelf, though there may have had them located in another place as well.

Ok I just got back from BB to get my instore pickup. I first wanted to check out the dvds and tv's. While walking around the tv section looking at the sweet plasmas I notice stacks and stacks of "Fox Best Buy Exclusive Home Theater Demo Disc", I picked up one, shook it, something was shuffing around in it. I walked up to the checkstand and I asked, "Do I need a receipt?" He scanned it, came up not in system. So I walked out with it.

Once Outside I opened it and it had 5 coupons:

$2 off Borat
$3 off Night At The Museum
$5 off one of four Fox Blu-Ray discs
$10 off Fox tv
and

$4 off Fantastic Four EE

All expire 8/31

I walked back in and walked out with FF EE for $5.99! Nice!

Was able to pick-up a copy. Only saw 2 copies in the store with both slipcases a bit beat-up. Not a big deal since the image is the same below. Thanks OP.

Is it ringing up in store like that or is it for only in store pickup?

It's ringing up $9.99 in the store so no need for in store pick-up.

That's good, because my local store said it was unavailable online but when I called they said they had a ton.

And sorry about not seeing that other thread. Since the title didn't mention the $9.99 price point, I didn't see the thread.

I'm stuck at work all day, and would love to online order for store pickup to guarantee I get one. But I want to use the coupon too. Anyone have success doing this? You can't do it online, but maybe if i present the coupon at pickup they can go in and credit me the $4? Seems unlikely, but maybe someone has done it before?

I was thinking of doing the same thing too. I ordered it online last nite for store pick up and was gonna pick it up today after work. I am gonna get the coupon and present it to them and see if they would take it. If not, then i'll return it and just buy it again with the coupon.

You most definitly can't do that. It's not that they won't allow it, it's the fact that you can't touch a BBuy.com order. They can only return to original form of payment. They can't do anything with it in POS (for example, pricematch or exchange.) In most situations they would just return it to you and then resale in store with the coupon, in which case if the dvd does goes up in price, they will probably mark it down seeing how you purchased online previously for $9.99.

Also for those that can't find it in stock, like I said in my other thread, when you create a raincheck it does it for $9.99. Seeing how the coupon is good through August, you can still get the $6 price whenever more come in stock!

Good points, although the main reason we're all doing this, I imagine, is to take advantage of the moviecash, so it hopefully comes back in stock in the next few weeks.

Maybe I'll buy one online and then do the return/rebuy trick.
