Sopranos (All) $19.96 @ Walmart - YMMV

Went Upstate, NY to visit family, and stopped in the Walmart. They had all the seasons of Sopranos for $19.96. Of course it's a YMMV, but they were in the TV on DVD section, and there was a tag in front of all that said, "$19.96" and underneath "Was $59.96"

Even though it's a YMMV, it's worth a shot!

Did you purchase them at that price? (i.e., confirm it at your location?)

I assumed you had purchased them, but I was making sure before I made a trip into Walmart just in case someone had jokingly stuck a low priced tag on them.

The Wal-mart in Highland Mills, NY...it's right by the famous shopping center (Woodbury Commons).

If this is true, I'd pick them all up. Anybody in the MD area find the same deal?

I, for one, believe you, Sabrett! Thanks for the heads-up. I'll include Wal*Mart in my rounds for tomorrow.

Just wanted to mention--make sure you scan them! Don't go by just the shelf tag. The one I went to had little tags attached to the shelf, and they were in front of all the seasons except 5, but I scanned it anyway, and it came up $19.96, so I'm assuming the little tag was there, and it got knocked off.

They also had all the seasons of 24 for $19.96 (the new slim sets). All Seinfelds (except new one) for $19.96.

Ghost Rider (1-disc) was $13.26

And a bunch of the $9.44 DVDs had the little tags for $5.96. The ones I remember are Enemy of the State, Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2 (both newer editions), Fantastic Four (1st pressing), Bad Boys/Bad Boys 2 (2-pack)...

My fiance lives near 1 Wal-marts, and they never have these awesome prices, so I jumped on a lot of stuff!!

Good luck...I wish Wal-mart didn't vary so much

Amazon has all Seinfelds except Season 8 for $24.95, which being tax free is close.

That price is incredible. Unfortunately, Wal-marts seem to be inconsistent in their pricing. I'd be amazed if this is available at other Wal-marts.

Yeah, except it misses free shipping by five cents, and people might not want to get something else to hit the $25

I was waiting for the inevitable box set, but after reading this I checked my Wal-Mart. The first season was on sale for $19.99, all others were regular price. So it seems it's definitely another YMMV Wal-Mart special.

I really, REALLY, do not have the money to spend on these right now. BB and DD wiped me out.

I'm as far upstate in NY as you can get (last town before you hit Canada) and they're still scanning at $49.9x

Looks like I'll still be waiting for a deal on season 6.1...
