Costco: $17.49 Screen Legends: Wayne, Stewart etc.
 

Costco has the new TCM Screen Legends Collections of John Wayne and James Stewart for $17.49 each, as well as the older sets of Cary Grant, Bing Crosby, and Rock Hudson. The new Stewart set is kind of a mishmash (Next Time We Love, You Gotta Stay Happy, Thunder Bay, The Glenn Miller Story, & Shenandoah), but at $3.50 a film + tax, it was a no-brainer for me.

The Wayne set has some great stuff -- Reap the Wild Wind, The Spoilers, The War Wagon, Hellfighters, and Rooster Cogburn.

They also have the new Nancy Drew 4-movie collection for $15.88.

I wonder if this is the version of "The War Wagon" that is nonanamorphic. Good deal though.

That would be Universal not TCM which would be Warner Bros.

Right -- Universal release. The TCM sticker on the box threw me off...

Just remember that the John Wayne set is at DD for $15.85 with the 20% off sale. For me it is also tax free with isn't true at Costco. Haven't priced out the other sets.

Does anyone know if the Essential Steve Mcqueen set is on sale at costco or anywhere else for that matter?

This week I saw a few McQueen boxes still at Costco -- I believe the price was around $20 or less.

Ohhh James Stewart... I was hoping for French Stewart.
