Anyone have any comment on the Charlie Chaplin Collections (Vol 1 & 2)? We have only seen 2 of the films included, but my kids watch the cheap version of the one we own (The Kid) over and over. We also really liked Gold Rush, which we rented.

Looks like these have been out for awhile (July 2003 and March 2004) so I am not sure if prices are likely to drop. Right now with the sale, DD prices are about $55.00 less than Amazon for the sets combined. I am tempted as I think we would get a lot of mileage out of them. Guess I need to be able to say someone twisted my arm :-).

Also, just in case anyone who might be interested was not aware, there are some good prices on board games and jigsaw puzzles that the discount codes work on. Most are at least half the price compared to other online retailers, many a bigger discount than that.

Both sets are absolutely worth it. You'll be getting some of the greatest films ever made, like City Lights, Modern Times, and The Great Dictator.

Starting in the same boat as you, my personal choice was to buy the three individual titles due to better packaging and saving a few bucks. I didn't see any advantage to the box set. I would definitely upgrade Fistful of Dollars.
