Well, I just went through the entire HD DVD and BD section and really, most titles are quite a bit more than amazon especially if you have the 10% discount and PRIME like many of us do. At best, with the sale I would save about $.50 a title, not enough to make splurge.

Also, why is there no Sopranos in HD or BD. I want to buy it, and I figured this would be the time, but maybe not.

I will wait a couple days to make my order if I decide to get a couple decent deals I found. Probably will pick up some variant of Planet Earth this week and maybe Porky's and Nerds collections.

You can't compare new and used as the same. Apples and oranges. More comparably, it's $90 at amazon.com, too, so at $72 at DD, it's still a better deal with the sale.

Well I just got a rude shock when I went to DDD's web site. When they merged into "Deepdiscount.com" apparently they eliminated the Music Performance genre. There is now no way to browse music DVDs any more. Some have been tossed into the "Musicals" genre, but the vast majority are part of the "Top Sellers" genre which encompasses tens of thousands of DVDs of all types.

Congrats, DDD. After my spending about $650 on the last sale, I won't be spending dick this time around.

Do these companies even bother testing their interface changes with real users before changing? This is a major step backwards.
