Its funny. I received 2 emails for both orders that I was credited
points, but my orders have not arrived yet. Anyways.
They should email you. But you can log into your account &
points should be listed there. It seems to vary though when
they are posted to ones account. I think its pretty cool.
They buy used stuff, offer coupons and frequent buyer points.
You even get buyer points on store credit. Just wonderful.

Same here, got my points added to my account yesterday.

Does anyone know what they do with a dvd that they reject?

I'm pretty new to DVD Planet, but I've send them about 100 or so dvds in 2 packages and 1 of them was listed as rejected.

Since then, I've ordered dvds several times over the course of several weeks and I've gotten all of them...even though I chose media mail.

But I've yet to get back my rejected dvd. Do they chuck the dvd? If so, how would you ever know if they had good reason to reject it?

They haven't contacted me either asking me to reclaim it. Since shipping is free, they could have easily put it in with any of my orders that I've received, but I haven't.

Anyone know what they do? Thanks.

I just placed an order using the DEC10 ($10 off $120) coupon and it worked. DEC52008 ($5 off $60) is also working. I only had about $125 in stuff in my cart, so I did not try DEC15.

Thanks for the heads up on the $15 off coupon! Got the X-Files complete collector's set for $222.47 including shipping.

Hopefully the $15 off coupon was the highest they go... I don't want to come back here to find out they had $20 off coupons etc... lol

DEC15 worked for me too - with that and some store credit, I just got the Murnau/Borzage boxset for under $10.

might want to see if you can cancel that order: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-bargain...ion-124-a.html

even if you can't cancel it i'd do whatever you could to send it back for a refund and order the set from amazon. that's $100 we're talking about.

heh... Yeah, I just noticed that today. I'm not going to worry about it... it's supposed to be delivered today. Now, if the box is all smashed up or something.... but WOW, I was Darth Vadering "NOOOOOOOOOO" when I saw that...

I also would have ordered it from them if they hadn't bumped the price twice. Have you seen the review at DVD Beaver?

Yes - it looks fantastic.

Those price bumps blew bigtime! My store credit it made it a better deal for me and given that I don't think these are going to be around for nearly as long as the Ford at Fox sets were I'm justifying biting the bullet on this.

New Coupons

ebaybb = 10% off with purchase over $0 (Expires: 12/30/2008)
DEC52008 = $5 off $60 (Expires: 12/31/2008)
DEC10 = $10 off $120 (Expires: 12/31/2008)
DEC15 = $15 off $175 (Expires: 12/31/2008)

Not sure what ebaybb is all about. It didn't work for me. It said I didn't meet the requirements.

Re: Coupons for DVD Planet/Digital Eyes Thread II

I ordered something in November and have yet to receive my bonus points. Also, I NEVER get any emails with coupons anymore. I think a pattern is starting to emerge with these guys. Planet and Deep Discount may be owned by the same guys but there are 2 very different cultures and ways of doing business between the two.

Re: Coupons for DVD Planet/Digital Eyes Thread II

I'm still getting e-mails updating my bonus points, but none since December have included any coupon codes, even though the subject line mentions coupons.
