Letters from Iwo Jima & Flags of our Fathers 5 disc B&N members $26.23 w/coupon

Using R9P6J3U, members can get the 5 disc collection containing Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima and the bonus disc for $26.23 + tax. Non-members can use A9B3H6J to get 10% off the sale price (making it $31.48) which is still cheaper than most retailers. DDD has it at $40 and change and amazon is $39.99.

B&N pricing:
Sale price 34.98
Members price 31.48
less 15% off coupon 26.23

There is also a 20% coupon in the B&N thread, but it sounds like it is something that requires a membership renewal.

Thanks to the B&N coupon trackers!!!

Wow, even at $30-$35 it's a great deal.

I just tried getting it through AAA (which gets a discount at B&N.com). Was able to use non-b&n coupon+AAA to save $5.25, free 3 day ship, $2 tax totaling $31.89.

If you're a B&N member it would be a really good deal. Didn't actually complete checkout though since I don't have $30 for this, but it seemed to work in cart.

Does anyone know when Barnes & Noble reprices after release?

Does anyone know when Barnes & Noble reprices after release? I have GCs at Amazon, but I don't want to waste them if Barnes & Noble is that much cheaper. Amazon frequently reprices according to competition on the day of release, but I don't want to unnecessarily lose the Barnes & Noble deal.

Take the sure thing and save the Amazon GCs - there will always be something else to buy at Amazon.

From my experience, the 30% off pre-orders typically last at least until the Sunday after it comes out. But they will eventually drop to only 20% off. I've never seen it change on release day. Keep in mind that the online sale price is almost never the same price in store... You'll need to order it online, or do a ship to home order in store...

Does anyone know what each B&M is selling the 5 disc set for? I saw someone post that Best Buy is actually selling it for full regular retail $49.99? Is that correct?

I was wondering this also. It's not in any ads or anything. The BB I stopped at didn't even have any in stock.

Seems like most places are $49.99. I called the Barnes & Noble and they have it at that price and then 10% off, so it would be $45 with the discount (this is the discount for everyone).

As for me, I decided to get on B&M.com even though if I had done this sooner, I would've saved another $5... Oh well, $31 is still a good price.

Just curious, any reason you can't/won't buy on bn.com? Even without the membership, it's only $35 and free shipping (plus use the code A9B3H6J and get another 10% off). The free shipping is < 3 business days, so that seems like a good deal as well...

I have to agree with TheMovieman -- bn.com's shipping is INCREDIBLY fast (I received my copy this morning), and the price can't be beat. Makes me consider becoming a member.

Costco has the set for $37.98 and BestBuy.com has it for $39.99 (either do an in-store pick-up or they should price match the website at the service desk). Still, can't beat the B&N deal (I went for it).

Just an FYI. Circuit City is selling it for $39.99 online and currently has free shipping, so only tax is charged. I went that route since I had a gift card to use .
