I think in this case, if you're left hanging in the middle of a series like that, it's morally justified to actually download the remaining episodes.

well this is better described in the club forum but that is what i am doing ... I signed up Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 1 1 selection $0.49
Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 2 1 selection $0.49
Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 3 1 selection $0.49
Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 4 1 selection $0.49
Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 5 1 selection $0.49
Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 6 1 selection $0.49
Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 7 1 selection $9.95

Total Items 7 selections

Shipping & Processing: FREE
Order Total: $12.89
and then used a B1G1 code with free shipping listed on the sales offer thread in the club forum to get
Fullmetal Alchemist: Volume 8 - the Altar of Stone Full Screen 4399309
Persuasion Widescreen 1491703
Order Total: $23.49

and used the code for one more b1g1 and then the account is fulfilled and i email CS and ask them to close the account ... make sure to double check if any Director's Selections are due out and cancel before hand. very easy ... in 24 to 48 hrs you get a CSR response saying that the account has been closed.

Of course you wait for the packages to arrive before closing just to be safe.

hope i helped and didn't over step my boundaries here
thanks

DisneyDVDFAN is correct. I sent you an email regarding Columbia House a couple of days ago. CH is by far the best way to go in procuring FMA.

Hey guys, here's a heads-up to anyone who was wanting to pre-order the new Highlander: The Search for Vengenance anime coming out June 5th. DDD has it for $12.06 right now. I think it looks awesome so maybe some of you will too.

...and if you haven't seen a trailer then watch it now.

Aw, that sucks about Kodocha, hopefully RS will pick it up. I already have the bootlegs, but the quality of the second half is not so good. I popped in the first DVD when I received it recently and noticed the video quality on my bootleg copy was better on my computer than the official release. I'll have to see on my tv first but it was rather disappointing.

FYI, this release date is actually 9/30/07. It got pushed back from the original June 5th date. There is also a special edition that is set to come out on the same date. So far there is no word of what is included in the special edition.

If you really want "Highlander: The Search for Vengence". Most GCO stores have it for between $2-$6 shipped after GCO.

Yeah, I doubt we will ever see another promotion like that again. Anything beyond a 10% off coupon would be nice!

Hellsing Ultimate, Vol.2 (LE) News

As posted on AoD:
Just got an interesting piece of news I thought everyone would like to know about. As you know, Hellsing Ultimate Vol.2 will be in stores on June 12th, 2007. Well, it looks like Suncoast/FYE is going to be running an in-store exclusive and will be carrying the Limited Edition Hellsing Vol.2 Steelcase release for only $29.98!

Other retailers will be carrying the Amaray release for $24.98 and the LE for $49.98, so if you have a Suncoast or FYE store nearby, definitely head on down and take advantage of this special opportunity on June 12th!

Columbia House has FMA 1-8, Samurai Champloo 1-7, Burst Angel 1-6, Gunslinger Girl 1-3, Fruits Basket 1-4, Hellsing Signature Series 1-4 and Galaxy Railways 1-5(there are a few others) available online as enrollment selections. The great thing about Champloo, Burst Angel, Gunslinger Girl, Fruits Basket and Hellsing is that they have all of the volumes that make up the series.

Amazon seems to be stepping up on some of their Bandai pricing as of late(the already mentioned Witch Hunter Robin, S-Cry-ed, etc). I just noticed that they now have the special edition of Eureka Seven Volume 5 for just $22.99.

No used DVDs are never applied to these types of sales. I believe the current promotion for used DVDs is still buy 4 and get 20% off your entire purchase.

That's too bad

They have some decent DVDs used that I wouldn't mind picking up at 7-8$, but at 15$ a pop they're a miserable deal, especially since many can be had new for less than that :-/
