Amazon has now lowered the price on Witch Hunter Robin-Anime Legends Complete Collection to $23.49. The price on this item has been fluctuating for the past week, but this is the lowest that it has ever gotten.

Both that and the Galaxy Railways are absolutely steals for their respective prices!

Quick question. How is Black Cat? I might get vol. 1 , but want some opinions first. If it helps, I like Get Backers, DNAngel, Saiyuki, Outlaw Star, Heat Guy J, Cromartie High School, etc. Not counting occultish and more serious stuff. Looking for something light right now. Thanks!

Flipping. Best Buy sells games for $1.99 that FYE pays as much as $25 for.

Some people find it immoral, but i wouldn't be surprised if any of these people have bought used or on ebay before, so its like the pot calling the kettle black.

It is only hypocritical of such people if they thing it is wrong because of FYE losing money. If they think it is wrong, as I do, because you are depriving others from buying the item at BB for their enjoyment of the item in itself, then it is not hypocritical for them to consider the practice bad. It for me boils down to the fact that etiquette is a virtue and selfishness is a vice to be stigmatized. Ultimately, it all boils down to consideration for others.

Tragedy of the commons - your vote doesn't count. By choosing to not exploit the situation you only enable someone else to exploit it, the chance that someone would actually benefit by getting the game at $2 and playing it is vanishingly small.

Yep. When deals hit websites like this one or Slick Deals, Fat Wallet or Cheap Ass Gamer, it's anybody's game. I flipped anime dvds from Big Lots and Dollar General for credit at local video game shops. Got games, action figures, etc. Plus I got to preview different series.

If it makes you feel better the flips weren't vey much. A $3 or $4 dvd used to be $7 store credit, $6 cash. FYE, Gamestop just wasn't my thing, since there were tons of older games that I wanted cheap.

I didn't see individual regular Ultra Mania volumes labeled with the sale prices, but it doesn't mean that they aren't included in the sale. I would call your local store and have them do a price check. This will save you some time and a trip if they aren't included in this sale.

Has DeepDiscount marked up prices in preparation for their sale already? I sent a friend who was looking for Kodocha 1-6 bundle for cheap and she told me it's now $48~ and not $38~ when I purchased it.

DD ran a FUNimation back then. It's no longer active. However you can still order it from DVDPlanet.com for $39.98. FYI, for the time being FUNimation won't be finishing Kodocha. The last volume right now would be Vol.13.

I didn't realize I bought it during a Funi sale. ^^; Thanks, I'll direct her to DVDPlanet.

They're putting Kodocha on the backburner eh? I hope they at least put volumes 7-13 in another bundle. :/ I sold my 2nd artbox when I found out about the 1-6 bundle.

It's not very likely that FUNimation will be doing the rest of the series. The series isn't selling very well and they have quite a few projects currently/coming up. Hopefully some studio like Right Stuf will rescue it like what they did with Super Gals. And I'm sure that eventually FUNimation will release a 2nd boxset for vol.7-13.

Funimation is saying they have released all that they have. Previously they said they have the entire series. I would be wary buying any more long series from Funimation.
