DD Anchor Bay Horror Sale

Deep Discount has a bunch of Anchor Bay horror movies on sale, including the new Re-Animator for $11.98. The new Mario Bava set isn't listed with the other items, but it's marked down to $23.98.

Murder by Decree is a steal at $4.80. It is certainly one of the late Bob Clark's best flicks.

Good find, Sean - especially on the Bava set. I was holding out on that until 20% sale, but decided to take the jump now, even though it's listed as out of stock for the moment.

Also picked up Murder By Decree, as starecase recommended.

WOW! I just ordered Re-Animator YESTERDAY from DD. Shipped today. Wouldthey refund me the money? The one time I tried to do a price match with DD was about a couple months ago and they didn't even respond to me.

Unless you're an ultra-collector, the LE...well, I found a highlighter just like the one included when visiting my parents. It was one of those handouts from a conference or suchlike, with of course something other than Re-Animator printed on it. Which kinda makes it a bit of a letdown.

Just as a heads up, while not all the Masters of Horrors DVDs are included in the link's list, they are all on sale - including the upcoming Family and Right to Die.

what makes you say that? Does this mean it's not coming with the highlighter? This would be a big disappointment, but I can't figure out why you say it's not. It has the same upc 013131502190. right??

I just found this in the Re-Animator Thread

Thanks for fucking me over, DeepDiscount.

So, since there's apparently no actual "Fullscreen" release, does that mean that what's listed at DD under that name is the actual Limited Edition? (Not that it matters, since I'm probably going to just return this for a refund and pick the LE up from Best Buy.)

Basically, if you want the Limited Edition: Do not order the "Widescreen" edition from DeepDiscount!
This really sucks considering I ordered the movie YESTERDAY! I really wanted that highlighter. I think I might just return it and pick it up at Best Buy or something. Do you have to pay for shipping to return to DD?

The FULLSCREEN version is the LE. I pre-ordered the widescreen months ago and it was the non LE. Ordered the Fullscreen a few weeks ago and its the LE. DD really needs to start updating their pics.

I'm totally in for a Bava set, great deal! Thanks for the post and catching the discount on that DVD! This deal should end sooner, I see myself buying too many things before May 10th.

Couldnt resist picking up

Knightriders for $7.18
The Wicker Man (newer 2-disk) for $9.58
The Stunt Man (Picture and description is of the 2-disk LE; hopefully it really is this one even though they have a single disk version for a higher price which is strange.....) for only $7.18

Havn't see the stunt Man before but it sounds good and the 2-Disk DVD (which it better really be) looks too tempting to resist...

Thanks for the news on the Bava set! I thought I would have to wait awhile to get it at that price. Glad to order it now.

Ordered the Bava set *You can't beat that price even if it's on backorder*, To the Devil a Daughter, and The Stunt Man LE which better be the right one for $7,18.
chris_sc77 if you have never seen The Stunt Man your in for a treat. It's the second best performance O'Toole has ever given.

I got no problem with it at all, Thanks for the list!

Also, any recommendations anyone?

I'm going to pick up MOH family but I'm thinking about the Bava box, what else shall I grab?

I actually managed to find quite a few of these I didn't own. Got away with 10 titles for $59. Not an amazing sale, but pretty good for certain titles.
