Now, where's that dude that makes the awesome, fully linked list of all the dvds in the sale? Since DDD apparently REFUSES to go back to providing a "View All" button ( ), those linked lists are the next best thing.

No kidding... Some good titles there but I already have the ones that interest me. It's a little strange seeing Out of Sight for $5.98 now... Anyone remember when that DVD was first released at $34.9X MSRP? You know you're a DVDTalk old timer when...

Another Universal sale ???

Strange though - my last order back in February showed 3 ITEMS on the DDD site as being still 'outstanding' - yet DDD can't see them (says that they weren't actually 'there' in my order !!) NOW - they wish to CANCEL THEM - at 'my request'

Further strange is that when I looked at my original email it actually MISSED these 3 titles (with the number of orders I've made over the years - I actually didn't read the full details).

Has this happened to anyone else ??

Pity though that these titles AREN'T included in this new sale - otherwise I would have grabbed them again - instead of going thru emails back and worth

FURTHER : CAN DDD PLEASE REDESIGN THEIR NEW WEBSITE !!!- please make it possible to view all items - rather than 12 at the bottom of each page - also - advise also which ones are WIDESCREEN and FOOLSCREEN (espcially as Universal does both versions)

That's all I'm sayin'.... that "View All" feature they had before was awesome. Quite frankly, I'm too gosh-darn lazy to take the "two minutes" to go page-by-page through their lists the way they're set up now...

Can you tell if this is a personal coupon, or a generic one (i.e. same one sent to many people, codes like USATODAY, DVDTALK etc)

Email back from DDD - more or less said - we cant 'see' these 3 titles 'outstanding' on your account (even though they are viewable online) - but - if you want them - reorder (at the higher price). It would have been nice for them to have been included in this Universal sale (but they aren't). You may get the same result.

I doubt anyone will be able to tell you that, I would say highly doubt it on both of those though. Some old stock may have the slip covers, but no one knows what your going to receive until you actually have it in your hands.

Is Meet Joe Black really the Ultimate Edition? Isn't she supposed to be OOP?

I hope they are in fact the UE, I placed an order for both Meet Joe Black: Ultimate Edition & Notting Hill: Ultimate Edition. According to the UPCs they are the Ultimate Editions.

slip cases ??!!?? hate to get off the topic - but - why worry about slip cases ??
is there an 'obsession' in the US about having an extra piece of cardboard covering the plastic DVD case ??

I remember when CDs first came out in the US (Aussie here !!) that they came in these LONG CARDBOARD BOXES - which were discarded once you got the CD out.

Hey - there are some NICE slip cases - like the Bond DIE ANOTHER DAY one - but - the ones like New Lines' Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny and Paramount's Mommie Dearest are a waste of resources.

and again - thanks to mnementh for the listing !!!!

I don't get it either. Unless the cardboard sleeve features a different design than the keepcase, I usually toss it right away. Although when I recently picked up about 5 Region 3 Godzilla DVD's that had slipcases, I gave 'em to my three-year old nephew as min-posters (he loves Godzilla).
