I ordered it September 18. Of course with WB, who knows if that's good or not. Sometimes it seems ordering earlier is worse. But they shipped it next day, leaving yesterday and arriving today.

Son of bitch Warner may be back! I ordered HP HD-DVD set on Tuesday and got a shipping notice today! Let's hope they got their stuff ironed out now and are all caught up.

The certainly seem to be handling orders promptly now. I ordered HP on Blu-ray when it was announced and got it on release day. Other orders have been swift as well but I'm still waiting on A Clockwork Orange & 2001

Had anybody gotten shipping notices for Blade Runner? I am starting to get nervous.

No shipping notice for Blade Runner or Ocean's Trilogy or Eyes Wide Shut. I'm done getting nervous I just expect them to randomly show up on my doorstep sometime within the next year.

Edit-> Holy crap! Right after posting this I checked MyExpressCheckout and Blade Runner has shipped!!

I didn't get a shipping notice but my online status does say that my Blade Runner shipped on the 14th. So against all odds, it looks like I may receive Blade Runner before 2008. However, 3 out of 5 kubricks are still somehow on backorder.

I checked my order status as well on Blade Runner and it shipped next day UPS on the 14th, scheduled to be delivered across the country on Monday.

Just logged in to see mine has shipped also (of course, I had to go to yet a third site to actually track it - sometimes I feel Amazon's useful site has spoiled me for inferior places like the WB store) and it looks like it shipped yesterday and will be here on Monday, not bad, and once it finally gets here, it will be my FINAL item from them.

My Blade Runner Blu-Ray has also shipped and it says it will arrive on Monday. For 22 and some change I'm not going to complain.

My Blade Runner HD-DVD 5-Disc arrived today in a HUGE box. They could have fit nearly 20 of the same sets I ordered in this box.

Everything I've ordered from WB store has come either before or on the release date and in good condition so I'm considering myself lucky.

Ha ha, me too! I was about to post this very same thing....came home today to a weird shaped big long rectangular box on my porch...thought, "that can't possibly be my Blade Runner HD-DVD, could it??"...sure enough, a day early! Even with the 17 little air bags in there, it was still sliding all around, but I have shaken the case and don't here anything loose at all so it should be fine....
I just looked at one end of the cardboard box, and it has a sticker on it saying "NEW MEDIA Fulfillment - BLAST FROM THE PAST (DVD) - CTN 30"...so I am guessing that means this box originally held 30 DVDs of "Blast From The Past" in it...nice to know Warner is too cheap to use an actual original box to mail their orders out and instead uses whatever old carton is laying around their warehouse, no matter how badly it actually suits the product being shipped!

(Just for reference, all my other WHV orders have arrived in much smaller, more cube-ish/square boxes that would probably hold around 5 DVDs or so...)

UGGGGHHHH!!!

I ordered mine in the beginning of August and still haven't gotten a shipping confirmation. I called up customer service today and they said it was sent to the warehouse, but can't see if it shipped. I called a week ago and they said the same thing.

Am I surprised? A little. I figured WHV got their act together by now. I did receive my Looney Tunes Golden Collection 5 within a few days of release. This is just something I really wanted on time though.

You beat me by 1 day my friend.

The rep on the phone said she'd email somebody at the head office or something about it. I'm not holding my breath that it will do anything, but she said if I don't get a response email tomorrow I should call back. As I told her on the phone, there really are no excuses for this lateness.

It's like WB hires 100's of autistic children to package our DVDs.

My Blade Runner came in today on the release day. So far WB has not let me down and this is my 4th order with them.

Nah, they just recycle their incoming boxes - a practice that I endorse.

I received my HD DVD of Blade Runner yesterday - the day before street. Those of you who ordered at the beginning of August who are still waiting, be aware that I also had an early August order that was going nowhere. I cancelled it and reordered in September(?) and a lot of it went out the next day.

I'm sure you'll get your stuff, but August was the Bermuda Triangle for orders.

And yes, my sole set came in one of those enormous boxes too. Each single disc that's been mailed to me has come the same way.

My Blade Runner HD-DVD also arrived on Monday in the large recycled box. Smart practice on their part to save $ on new boxes. My discs 4 and 5 were loose even though it didn't sound like there were any floaters. Minor scratches on disc 5.

Oh yeah, I got the shipping notice today, the day after the damn thing arrived. . .

okay, here's the deal

I just called WHV (once again) and got that guy Felix (who I've heard so much about) on the line. I asked him about Blade Runner and he told me:

"Ya, we just got a memo with the Blade Runner that they have all shipped out, but they have not changed the status on the orders. You should receive it any day now."

Don't let us down Felix!

People should know that canceling an order at Warner is no guarantee of anything. Many people that supposedly canceled have still gotten packages.

Haha, I talked to Felix yesterday. He reminds me of Bigfoot from the Howard Stern show (Sirius). Anyone agree?

By the way, I am still waiting on 2001, clockwork orange, and blade runner BD (case). I was sick of waiting so I tried to cancel, we will see if the cancellation goes through.

I received my Blade Runner BD today on release day in a big box that was already opened on one side. Luckily, the disc was in there and seems to be undamaged. FWIW, UPS did try to deliver it yesterday but I wasn't around to pick it up. So at least WHV was able to get me this on time. I am still waiting for 3 Kubrick BDs that were ordered ages ago...
