Cheapest/fastest deal for Rocky Balboa (Blu-Ray)?

I want to buy Rocky Balboa on Blu-Ray on the 20th, it will most likely be $34.99 when it comes out. Does anyone know of a site that has it cheaper and that will most likely be able to get it delivered to my house the day it comes out?

DVDEmpire ships on the Friday before release date.

In my experience, DDD and DigitalEyes usually ship a week before release date. In fact, I had pre-ordered DVDs from both sites that are coming out the 13th, and today, I got e-mails that both orders have already shipped.

BTW, DigitalEyes has Rocky Balboa Blu-Ray for $27.26

I just ordered Private School from them, it shipped this past Friday and I got it on Monday. I live on the West Coast though.

That's all well and good, but they want $39 for Rocky Balboa!

RobCA 03-07-07 12:45 AM

That's the SRP. Their price is $27.26:

If you want the fastest deal on anything, stay away from DVDplanet.

If you want the cheapest, definately check them out.

If you have prime, you could get it from amazon wih overnight shipping. It should be there affordably no later than the 20th. With the rest you are going on past experiences and uncontrolable guesses, there is some certainty with amazon prime. I am usually not in a hurry for stuff so it is not a huge deal when stuff ships for me, but I need some stuff ASAP and joined Prime and it completely changes how they ship your items. On super saver it may ship a week after you order with Prime it jumps to the head of the line.

What is prime?

Amazon Prime is a subscription program, sometimes you can sign up for a free trial (I did). You pay $79 and for 1 year everything elegible (most all movies, books and small item as well as a large number of the other items they stock) ship with free 2 day shipping. It is also only 3.99 for overnight. I signed up after my free trial period because I had two books I needed the next day for my wife for school and it was going to be like 35+ for shipping. I figured over the course of the year I would benefit from it. Its nice because I no longer have to group DVDs, etc to get $25 for free shipping. There is no price point to get the 2 day shipping. If you order a 2.99 item it ships 2 day for free. There are several discussions on Prime, if you are a big amazon fan and buy from them often it is pretty nice.

Yeah, that's too much. It sounds like a good deal, but I just don't order stuff online very much.
