Late last night Bestbuy.com was down as they updated the site. I don't know it the site is tied into the retail system but I had a feeling they were updating to correct the price.

Don't matter to me anyway. I got all I wanted from it.

Well, many thanks to the original poster and to Best Buy for a great glitch. I had been thinking on getting Casablanca and Constantine but the 12 titles I got were good enough.
Hopefully they keep whoever made the mistake on the payroll!

Ah well. It was fun while it lasted.
I stopped at the local BB last night after work to grab a few more titles. A co-worker had recommended V For Vendetta (I didn't originally get it), so I swung by to pick up two copies. I ended up with:
V For Vendetta (x2)
Amadeus (to replace the older 1D snapper version I have)
Constantine (blind buy)
Tenacious D
1500 (300 x5)
This was on top of my previous lunchtime trip that netted:
Chariots Of Fire
East Of Eden
Giant
Lost Boys
Magnolia
Mystic River
1800 (300 x6)
The Washington St BB in Indy is still stuffed full of 300 sampler/promo DVDs, so I didn't feel bad about taking 5 more (11 total over two purchases). I'm planning to use two for my wife and I, I've already given away a half dozen, and plan to give the rest away to friends over the weekend. They won't go to waste, and they won't be turned for a profit.
I spent a total of $62 plus tax ($17 for Tenacious D, $50 for B5G5, -$5 for the Vendetta for my co-worker) for 10 movies -- 1 new release, 1 upgrade, and 8 movies I didn't have. Plus 11 tickets to see 300 - 2 for me and 9 for friends. Thanks OP!

Still, a hell of a deal while it lasted. I wish I would have picked up more 300 discs, but that's my only regret. My brother and I got our free tickets, and I probably don't need any more than two, since I doubt my wife and his girlfriend will be inclined to join us for the movie.

I'll do you one better - a personal house call from George Takei, where he'll present you with a Tim Hardway rookie card, signed by Tim himself.

But if anyone just wants a 300 disc, they are free with any DVD purchase.
I imagine it will ring up as free with the one penny HBO samplers or similar demo DVDs.

But why would you do this? Unless you're looking to get a pair of 300 movie tickets for $10 (which *is* a pretty good deal), you'd probably be better off getting a real movie for $9.99 and one free 300 DVD/ticket.

Too bad. I went to Best Buy to pick up King Kong and My Fair Lady, but they didn't have the Lady. Too late to get it at another store now. BUT at least I got a couple of good films for cheap before it died. Thanks a bunch OP.
