I wish they'd release Salute Your Shorts, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, AHHHH!!! Real Monsters, and Pete and Pete Season 3!!! There are a lot of people that would buy all of those.

Correct, and they make that point very clear. However, I would think they'd be rather foolish to place such a wide-scale ad as the one I received with gmail were they not somehow contractually obligated to Nickelodeon. So, my guess is if you want the shows on dvd anytime soon, this might be a good way to go about getting them until such time as Nickelodeon sees fit to release them officially - assuming they ever do.
