Star Trek TOS Season 1 -3 $86.66 at Barnes and Nobles

Found another great use for the 25% off code. I purchased the Star Trek TOS 3 season pack that retails for $150 or higher for $86.66!

I tried using the code but got the ol' "your purchased does not meet the requirements for this coupon offer" message (loose paraphrase). At any rate, the site wouldn't apply the discount. I won't give up just yet but unless someone has suggestions about how to apply it, it seems to be a no-go.

At least I still have the latest 15% coupon that doesn't expire until the 18th. Hadn't figured out what to use it on, so this will come in handy. Thanks for posting the deal, OP! Nice find.

***EDIT*** Found my mistake...I was trying the 2nd updated coupon, which has expired. Reread the Twilight Zone post & found the newest coupon, and it worked like a charm.
Oh, and at the last minute, decided to use it on Twilight Zone instead. Thanks again.

Can you only use this code once per person/account? Or once per order?

BTW, the 25% code is now N8W6X7A (good til the 18th). Might be good only for members.

And OP, many Barnes, one Noble.

Super sweet! You need to be a member for the 25% code to work. I decided to go ahead and sign up as it's only $25 for the year, and you are saving half of that or so by using the 25% versus the 15%. I figure one more nice deal like this and it is well paid for! Ended up being $109.06 total, which boils down to $84.06 for the set! Knock off that $15 paypal rebate, and it's down to $69.06. Most places you can't buy one season for that! Thanks much OP!

I really wish they could find a way to sticky and update B&N coupons. B&N is finally giving some sweet deals.

Can you only use this code once per person/account? Or once per order?
Also, anyone know if you can open a second account with a different email, but same membership number?

Not if you did a ship to home order from the store. I got over 20 of these for around $68 each after tax, and am selling them for over $110 each on Ebay. This is a good price for right now, though.

Did it go up in price... I can't seem to get it that low (even discounting membership)?

I saw all three seasons of TOS at a Walmart last night for about $55. Also had a few TNG and DS9 sets for the same price.

Why because he bought a product and resold it? This is America.

Personally I think he is selling them to cheap since they easily go for $139. Most people see that low of a price and they think Bootleg, especially on ebay.

Anyway, this is a great buy

It's called "hoarding". He is preventing other people from enjoying a great deal by being greedy. Now I regret making this post because BN has put my order on backorder! They are out of stock of this set.

Well, I'm appreciative you posted it (even if I didn't manage to get in on it )! Good luck on receiving your set!

I am sure that you will get it. I have been waiting for a month for the Twilight Zone Def Edition full set.

As for the price, they went up on it. It could be very well down again by the morning. Barnes and Noble has certain titles that go on and off sale on a regular basis. This is one of them. It changes regularly.
